Know before you go
In Calgary, brewers, rodeo riders, standing-wave surfers, pit masters, and musicians thrive side-by-side. Alberta's biggest city can't be labeled, and that's just fine with the locals living in this metropolis-on-the-prairie. Whether you're here to explore Calgary's many sides or are passing through on your way to a neighboring national park, this city has no shortage of hotels. Your best bet is to let your interests narrow your neighborhood search. A few of the many options include Downtown, which puts you close to popular attractions; Victoria Park with its cool and neighborhoody feel; and hip-and-happening Beltline. Once you've got a neighborhood in mind, browse options that include plenty of big-name hotel brands plus a cool selection of boutique hotels and plenty of cozy and inviting B&Bs.
