I cannot recommend Nick and his guides highly enough. We've been lucky enough to go to some of the very best mammal watching sites in the world, with some of the best guides - there are very few places that can be compared to Kaa Iya, and only two people who come close to being as good as the combination of Cezar and Mauricio (the guides). In 3 days (4nights) we saw four species of cat (including multiple sightings of both jaguar and puma) and a species thought extinct until the 1970s (chacoan peccary), as well as several other more commonly seen species. I later organised a follow-up trip to amboro through Nick, and that was again brilliant - absolutely stunning scenery and a couple of nice bird and reptile sightings. Plus Nick (and those who guide for him) are central to ongoing Bolivian conservation efforts. If you're thinking of organising a wildlife watching trip out of Santa Cruz don't hesitate to use Nick!!

Nick and Gladys were very helpful in helping us get setup for a tour in the Bolivia salt flats. At one point our email correspondence swelled to 100 emails, and they were extremely patient in answering all our questions and helping us perfect our itinerary. As first time travellers to Bolivia, this peace of mind cannot be understated. The tour we ended up on (with their partners Hidalgo Tour) went swimmingly, and I cannot recommend booking with Nick's enough. Thanks so much!

I booked the tour because of a friend. I work in filmmaking in my country and have always wanted to record a jaguar up close. Although I have seen and recorded jaguars before, it has always been from a distance and at challenging times of the day. I know how hard it is to see one up close, and this tour made it happen. We saw 23 mammals in almost three days in their natural state—no bait, no GPS collars, just walking and doing their thing. We were accompanied by excellent professionals who assisted us in spotting the wildlife without disturbing it. I am truly happy with the tour; it was everything I was looking for. Keep in mind, this is not like an African safari. The animals are in their natural state and will run away at loud noises. They won't stay long in the presence of humans, and there is no certainty that you will find jaguars or any other mammals. Even if you do, they will not stay in plain sight for long.

Nick planned a 30 day Bolivian adventure for us. From start to finish, we enjoyed the places we visited, guides and attention we received. Always on time, wonderful hotels, way too much food and guides who became friends. We felt like we really got to experience the best Bolivia had to offer. Nick and his staff are trustworthy and responsive to every need. His services are 5+ stars and highly recommmended.

My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable experience in Kaa Iya. Saul, César, and Natalie were absolutely incredible. Our 3 days with them far exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment they picked us up at the hotel Saturday morning to our goodbye hugs at Santa Cruz airport Monday night, it was nonstop smiles, laughter, and excitement. About an hour into our drive from San Jose to the ranger station, we saw two Tayra trotting along the road in the span of 5 minutes, and Cesar, Saul, and Natalie were all just as excited and enamored as we were; that’s when we knew it was going to be a special few days. Their palpable passion for conservation and love for the flora and fauna of their country made everything immeasurably more special for us. We saw some incredible wildlife; ocelots, several fox species, several monkey species, tapirs, some unbelievable birds, and much more. Huge thank you to Saul, Cesar, Natalie, and the rest of the Nick's Adventures team for such a memorable experience.

Amazing day trip wandering around El Fuerte. The guide Pablo was on time, spoke great English, and was both a good person to chat to on a day out while also providing a lot of insights into Bolivian life, history and nature. When we visited the third site, the hummingbird sanctuary, it was unexpectedly closed. Overall a good tour regardless

Last month me and my wife spent 4d/3n in Jaguarland with Nick, BEST SAFARI EVER!!!! I enjoyed six to seven different safaris in the last 20 years in Africa and Asia,and this one was by far the best one. First of all the place, Jaguarland it,s a wildlife explosion I never saw in my life, despite the area is an agricultural private property with large areas of soja planted soil ,the wildlife is everywhere!, on my second day we saw 4 Jaguars, two females and two cubs( a dream come true) also 5 snakes ( Including anaconda ) Tapirs ( With a baby ) Giant ant eaters, armadillo and much more on a very large list, amazing! On the other hand Nick is a great guy, it´s amazing the efforts he did scanning, searching and spotting like a machine all the time day and night, very good trainned eye! Organization was all perfect, the car for mobility, the food, even the basic tent on such a nice place was perfect for us as all the wildlife you see daily worth it.Thank you for everything Nick!

A return to Bolivia with Nick's Adventures Bolivia to sample some more of this incredible country was simply amazing. The focus of the 3 weeks was wildlife watching with visits to Kaa Iya, El Palmar and a private property a few hours from Santa Cruz with a trip across the border into Brazil's South Pantanal. Also, a visit to the salt flats at Uyuni. All of it arranged or directed by Nick. The photos hopefully speak for themselves regarding the wonderful nature, wildlife and landscapes of Bolivia and the Pantanal. It should be noted that these ecosystems are under extreme pressure, threatened by climate change, wildfires (some deliberately set), drought and improper land management. Planning beforehand with Nick and his team enabled me to experience so much during what seemed too short a time. His passion for all of the natural resources of the country and others on its borders know no bounds, and he is absolutely prepared to go that extra mile in delivering the experience that his guests require. His knowledge and experience make him the "go to" man for whatever you want to see and do here. He has selected a team of quite incredible guides (Cesar, Jorge and Mauricio were with me this time) whose knowledge and skill have to be seen to be believed when it comes to spotting these animals in their natural habitat. But they have clearly been chosen for their personal qualities too, so much so that during each of my trips as the solo client, I had the feeling that I was on holiday with my friends sharing these incredible sightings that they were as pleased with as I was. Basic, but comfortable, rustic accommodation meant there was a place to get well-earned rest in between drives for animal spotting and the meals served up by Yetsi and Nati were delicious and filling. At times, I travelled on my own from one finish point to the start point of my next tour, but the team made sure that I had the correct ticket for the bus, platform number, departure time, snacks, water etc before they were prepared to leave me Bolivia is relatively easy to get around with a good network of buses, an excellent national carrier in Boliviana de Aviacion and friendly, helpful Bolivians everywhere, but Nick and the team were always on hand for advice and support. As the title of the review says, if you're considering Bolivia you simply have to talk to the man....and if you're not considering Bolivia then you certainly should be!

My partner and I did a tour with Nick's Adventures to Kaa-Iya del Gran Chaco National Park outside of Santa Cruz. It was just great. The area is completely unspoilt and is a totally natural habitat. We had a driver, a tour guide (Hugo!) and a cook who were all incredibly helpful and did a wonderful job with long hours. Hugo had a vast knowledge of the area and wildlife and could spot all the animals we could not. This is not a luxury tour as you stay in the old ranger's station at the park but if you are after a genuine experience in an area few people see then this is definitely the trip for you.

We(my wife, 4 year old daughter and i) had the privilege to visit Kaa Iyaa NP(4nights) and jaguarland(2nights) with Nick,s Adventures. This was definitly one of the highlight of our 6 weeks travell across Bolivia. We had a really good and friendly guide Mauricio and very nice and good cook,s Natalia and Jetsy. We saw multiple Jaguars,tapirs, jagurundi,ocelot with cub,tayra,sloths and many other mamals, reptiles and birds. We definitely recomand this company especially because Nick is doeing a lot of good things for the Bolivian wildlife and for raising awareness for the problems in Bolivia.
