    An Argentine-designed landmark in KL
A must see. The KLCC park is lovely at any time of the year and the view to and from the towers is breathtaking. The Petronas were designed by Argentine architect Pelli and they are a landmark in KL. The shopping mall is also very nice and even houses a Mark and Spencer's store.

    Beautifully constructed
Book early to get a ticket or be there at 8am for the box office to open at 8.30 to get same-day tickets. Visit the food floor at Suria KLCC, a superb mall. There's also an aquarium nearby

Lucky to see the towers lit up for Chinese New Year
When you are in Kuala Lumpur it is a must do to visit the Petronas Twin Towers. They are a magnificent piece of modern structural engineering that the Malaysian people are justifiably proud of. Pre-book your tickets to the Skybridge and the 86th floor observation deck for the best panorama views of KL. At night the towers are flood lit to allow a brilliant view of the towers. We were lucky on our last night in KL to witness the towers flood lit in red to usher in the Chinese New Year celebrations, totally breathtaking and so glad we got to see it.

Be sure to reserve tickets in advance. There's almost no chance of getting one once you're there!
Important in advance: Make sure you reserve and buy visitor tickets in advance. Luckily we did this because the time slots to visit the Petronas Twin Towers are often fully booked and you don't have a chance. It is definitely worth seeing the twin towers, not least because of their architecture but also of course because of the view. It was a great experience!

Amazing architecture, pre-book to go up!
Despite being such a tall and iconic building, the twin towers are surprising hard to see in their fullness. This is because the downtown area of KL has multiple tall buildings which means you have to be up close to get a view. The site itself is pristine and attached to a large shopping mall and park with a concourse area at the front. It is actually almost impossible to get t full length view of the towers from the front concourse because of the relative size of the towers compared to the concourse. Better photos are to be had from the KLCC park behind the shopping centre. Inside, the building is a functioning office for the Ptronas company and has within it a symphony theatre, gym and other offices. I had rocked up expecting to be able to buy a ticket at the door but the number sold each day is limited to somewhere in the region of 1000 with at least half sold online. It meant that the next available tickets were two days away! While I’m sure that the views from the viewing platform would be spectacular, I felt that the time within the building, the mall and the park were equally good and allowed for multiple photos to be taken to provide the ideal photos to make family and friends jealous. Definetley worth a visit and stay for the lights to come on as well.

    Wonderful
The Petronius Twin Towers are an absolute must during a visit to Kuala Lumpur. Here’s the thing, you need to view the towers in the day time and in the evening as the character of these towers completely changes. In the day time, the towers stand tall, gleaming in the Malaysia sunshine whilst towering over the KL skyline. In the evening they light up to create an enigmatic, picturesque view. Around KLCC there are lots of viewing and picture opportunities so get your legs moving and wonder around picking up the best views.

    Amazing towers.
I just think the towers look amazing! I mean, they are just 2 tall towers, but I like them. Esoecially at night they look even more amazing. I did not go in. Just observed from the ground level outside.

    Great attraction in Kuala Lumpur
Eventually made it to Petronas Twin Towers, thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Reasonable cost and well worth it. Thought the floor of the sky bridge would be see through but wasn't which suited me fine. Lovely staff and affordable souvenirs in the gift shop.

    Petronas twin towers experience
Great experience looking at views of KL floor to ceiling glass. Around 45 minutes to look around and take photos on 86 floor. If you are scared of heights I would give it a miss. Loved it.
