...the square is especially crowded when cruise ships arrive. For that reason, I find the prices of clothing and souvenirs to be a over priced. You can find better deals along Duval St if you take the time to walk away from the square. I visited during the day and the evening. There is free entertainment (like juggling acts, musicians, etc) and it is the perfect place to watch a sunset.

Stop here to catch the sunset like everyone else! The square is right along the water and there are plenty of spots to sit and watch the sunset. It does get busy so if you want a front row view, get there at least 35 minutes before the sunset to claim your spot. They have local vendors selling tourist items and hotdogs also street performers are there too.

We parked here in a city lot for $6ph, plus a $1.20 fee. Put your tag number in and they take credit cards. Walk to the water and this is where the sun goes down, but the rest of the day there are shops, stores and fun things to do - you can also buy trolley ride on tour tickets here!

The night we visited Mallory Square the sunset wasn’t as spectacular but we enjoyed visiting the area. The number of people really builds until the sun goes down and while it was crowded it didn’t feel obnoxious or uncomfortable. Once the sun completely disappeared many people started clapping. It’s not something I would do every night in Key West but I am glad we got to experience it.

This is a fun place to take in the beautiful Key West sunset and watch some street performers with quirky talents. A guy was riding a tall unicycle and juggling while we were there. It's all very laid back; there's a small cement wall where you can have a seat. Also food for sale like hot dogs and fresh coconuts. Everyone should come at least once. Our hotel was next door, so we just strolled over, but there is a small paid parking lot if you need it.

The entertainment is eclectic and fun! The snow cones are yummy, especially when it’s hot. The view with water/sail boats is serene. And if you walk to the pier and find a seat for the sunsets you’ll be forever in love with the view and the beauty of God’s art work. You can get award worthy photos of the sunsets and soak in the calming and soul soothing atmosphere. Mallory Square is a “must do” while in Key West.

One of the best places to catch the sunset! My wife and I walked up like 30 minutes before sunset and were able to get a good spot. If there’s too many people here you can walk down the boardwalk for 5 minutes and get another good view, tons of space to get a good view of the sunset. They have street performers and a bunch of gift shops so it’s a great place for a walk.

Entertaining and beautiful experience to have with young children. Live music every night and entertainers keeping your little ones occupied. Not a lot of people when we traveled April 11-16 and it was great to walk around in the morning with hardly anyone around and as well as after sunset.

Lots of shopping. Not crowded. Beautiful views. Live music everywhere. Safe must see sunsets. It is the place to be. Parking is a bit hard but there is a little known public parking ramp literally right in the heart of it. We parked in the ramp 3 times and walked everywhere.

Mallory Square delivers on the Trip Advisor tip. We went there and enjoyed the restaurants, shopping, and perusing the harbor, and just enjoyed the whole experience of being in Key West. So much to do in the Mallory Square area. Very friendly people and easy access for all pedestrians. Wish we could be there more often.
