Captan Dennis is the best. Fished several times with him on fishing vessel Destiny. None better. I know it is fishing, but we always do mostly catching. Jason is a great mate. Captain Dennis always keeps you informed as to how deep to keep your bait, on the bottom-5 cranks up and so on. Thanks for another great time.

Was out fishing today and had a lot of fun. Arms are tired from catching fish. Shawn was in the front of the boat helping. Hard working always hustling to keep our baits in the water and our fish on ice. He has been working out of the harbor since he was 14. If you are thinking about a trip you will be happy you decided to go! Good luck on your trip!

What a great experience! I book a trip every time we visit Destin (6 times so far). I've caught my limit of "table fare" fish every time in any season. The equipment and approach guarantees success. Every member of the staff is friendly (had great time sharing conversations with Jason, from Sandusky) and dedicated to your success. Finally, even with all the family fun, safety is tantamount. Very affordable charter; with convenient, affordable fish cleaning afterwards. Lots of restaurants around will cook your catch for you too, which is very rewarding!!!!

We went on the Destin Princess yesterday, and what a trip it was. My son and I had been on the boat before and had a good time, we brought two first time ocean fishers with us. We all had a good time, we caught more fish than I could've imagined catching. There was one time all four of us were reeling in a fish,there were times when we caught two at a time. A great time with a captain that knows where the fish are. The crew was extremely helpful in making this a good experience. I will definitely go on this boat again.

We had the best time on our 6 hour fishing trip. Hayden was assigned to our area and he even took the time to help me bait my first hook. They have an organized system to help everyone keep fishing and keep catching. Listen to the directions and do what they say and you’ll have a great trip and catch fish. They work hard to help you fill your basket at each stop, but can’t guarantee it of course. Be sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind smelling like squid/fish or having squid ink on. We took a towel to wipe our hands on and we were very thankful. An old bath towel or beach towel would be best. Soak your clothes in baking soda after your trip to get that smell out and wash in hot water, then hang dry. Trust me on this one. The crew cleaned our fish for us for $.50/pound and bagged it. We took our fresh catch over to Harry T’s and they cooked it for us family style for $20/pound with two sides. Seemed a little expensive since we caught it, but we were hungry and the view was nice. Just beware, parking is $20 if you go to Harry T’s; we’ll be looking for a different place that will cook our catch next time. I would definitely do this trip again, had the best morning fishing with the crew.

Five of us went and caught enough vermillion snapper to feed 14 people, plus a little. We had a great time! The deck hands were a little short handed (pun intended), but they worked hard and did a good job. But they were also kind and friendly to my family, who needed extra help at times. Very understanding. Inside cabin was air conditioned (somewhat cooler than outside). I love this type of bottom fishing, but it’s a little crowded, standing shoulder to shoulder. Get there earlier than everyone else to pick your fishing spot on the boat. (We enjoy the front)

My friend and I had a great time on the Destin Princess yesterday. We have taken a party boat trip at Destin almost every year for the last 20 years. This was our first trip with these guys, we are kinda creatures of habit. But alas, the folks we have always used did not have an 8+ hour trip available at a time we could go. I understand that an 8+ hour trip might not fit your situation, but getting to the fish is a significant boat ride, so shorter trips limit your fishing time and the places you can get to. The more convenient a spot is, the more likely it is to have been overfished. Lucky us, the Princess was a good pick. The ship was clean and the a/c actually worked. Inside was cool. Best of all, we caught fish. About 21 pounds stringer weight, including one nice red snapper and a trigger. We didn’t realize that red snapper were in season so that was a treat. Deck hands were great. We are not new to fishing so we could have removed the catch from the hook but they preferred to do it, fishing regs can be a little tricky so let them do it so you don’t get caught with something illegal in your basket. Captain was very experienced and knowledgeable and worked to keep us on fish. Have seen other reviews complaining about moving from place to place. With this type of fishing if you don’t get a bite pretty quick, if trash fish show up or if the predominant catch is undersized you might as well move on, it ain’t gonna happen at that spot today. We did not get on a great red snapper bite, but when a few keepers showed up, the crew was quick to bring out the whole squid to try to coax one to your hook. First time I had experienced the boat supplying premium bait to catch premium fish.
