My family and I fished with captain Alex this week for spring break. Had an absolute blast!!! Caught Spanish Mackerel, mango snapper, and then decided to go try for a shark. Within 30 minutes we hooked up to a 6 foot Dusky shark and were able to get it to the boat and released. I would recommend captain Alex with Silver King Charters to anyone that wants to have a great time and make memories with friends and family. We had a great time during spring break with Captain Alex. He was great at communicating! For our actual trip, he brought everything to make sure we had a successful trip and kept trying different spots. We caught a TON!! We (2 adults, 2 kids) had an excellent time; he’s an expert running a solid charter - the best we’ve been on!

This was my first charter fishing trip and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but Captain Alex exceeded all of my expectations. He was great to communicate with beforehand and let us know what to expect. Despite many others cancelling chargers that same day, because we booked with him we were fortunate to enjoy a laid back day on the water enjoying fishing. I highly recommend booking with him. He made it great for us and was very knowledgeable. When we arrived at the dock to leave, we saw many other upset clients that booked with other charters that cancelled because of weather. Look at my photos and you’ll see what the other companies were afraid to go out in?! Thankfully Alex was committed to making the day a great one for us. There was a little wind, but it was a perfect day to be on the bay and out shark fishing. We got to catch a few Spanish mackerel, and took them out to sea for shark bait. The sharks were biting but we didn’t catch any, but much to the delight of my family we got to see plenty of dolphins up close because they were enjoying our bait fish. We wanted to catch a shark or two, but seeing some dolphins up close and personal was just as nice for the family too. If you want to see dolphins, don’t waste your money on the big boat charters and book a fishing excursion with Alex.

Alex put our group on fish today! We caught plenty of fish for a catch and cook and then chased fish that pulled hard!! Alex works very hard to make sure everyone catches fish and has a good time. Highly recommend booking with Silver King Charters.

Alex will put you on the fish! We caught enough to have a fresh catch dinner…then he put us on some Amber jacks! Alex gracefully handled multiple fish on across 5 lines! Baiting hooks, keeping keepers, and providing tips along the way…the man knows his business and these waters. This captain is a pro!

Great day fishing with Captian Alex. He is very professional and works hard to put you on the fish. I have fished with him several times now and have never had anything but a great experience. If you want to fish Destin I recommend him hands down!

Alex was awesome! My two sons and nephew will never forget this trip with their Grandpa and me. Alex was patient and friendly. With his help, we all caught a ton of fish and each one of us was able to reel in the “big one” catching a king mackerel, sharks and a bonita. We also got an up close encounter with dolphins.
