Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.
While heading through the downtown area toward the harbor we stopped at a wonderful edifice that does not impose in grandiosity, but invites you to enter fulfill your intellectual curiosity. If I lived in Vancouver I would make regular trips to this library, if for no other reason than finding something to read or do research, but just to enjoy...
Really nice Italian restaraunt in the heart of Vancouver with a great selection of wines and beers. The menu was interesting with several choices that you might often see on an Italian menu. But the selection of foods grilled on an open wood fire was special. The rib eye steak had a really tasty rub (flavour). Our waiter was very...
I booked the couples massage for my mom and myself for my mom's 70th birthday treat. We booked the lily package. If you want a great treat to papmer yourself, don't hesitate on trying this place! It was the best massage I've ever had. Ambiance is great, every massage, facial and treat was stellar. We will be back!
Three amazing young men started this free and fun walking tour company several months back. (Look for umbrellas that say Toonie tours in and around Robson Square.) We took the "land" tour with Nathan and walked all over Vancouver. We've done these free tours in other major cities and have always been pleased. But Nathan was so good that we...
Fanny Boy Oyster Bar was sooooo yummy! What a nice little joint that we stumbled across. That crab was so delicious. You get to pick out your dinner as it’s all on display when you walk in. We ordered one dungenous crab, 12 oysters and fries. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is casual with lots of...
We spent one night here after an Alaskan cruise. A friend recommended staying here due the proximity to Stanley Park. Our suite was quite functional, but not elaborate. It was extremely clean with microwave, stove, coffee pot, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer, etc. The staff was friendly. It would be a great place for an extended stay. Lots of eateries...
This hotel goes above and beyond, and I'm really glad I stayed here for my first visit to Vancouver.
- Perfect. Less than 5 minute walk to BC place, 10-15 min walk to train station/shopping district, 10 min walk to Gastown
- Came with robes and fresh slippers
- Had the COMFIEST pillows and mattress
Hotel staff were all helpful and friendly. I had a really big suite for the price. Room was exceptionally clean. Great “complimentary” breakfast. No extra charge for WiFi. There were full kitchen facilities in my suite (fridge/freezer, sink, microwave). One slightly irritating thing: you have to your room key to activate the elevator on every use.
Two nights here at the end of a touring holiday across Canada and this was the nicest of all the accommodation. Excellent facilties abd a pristine and well equipped room. Downside was no bath and range of foods at breakfast wasa little less than many hotels of a similar standard. Did not use the restaurant for other meals.

Fantastic hotel! Great location, great room. Nice and clean. Booked a room with both city and bay view, so beautiful. Super comfortable beds. I loved every moment here! Will definitely come back, as soon as I can!
