The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
Right beside Woodbine Park and connected to a endless array of bike paths, Ashbridge’s Bay Park is a treat.
With great views of tall buildings downtown and endless lake, this park, local for me has become one of my favourites.
Picnic perfect with nice weather.
Came here with my girlfriend for brunch on a Sunday afternoon, little to no wait. Food was very good, very fresh, and it's a nice little spot. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the fresh pressed juice as well. In terms of brunch places I do still prefer a few others in Toronto, but I do recommend it here!
I cant recommend the Lamb chops enough, Labni to start, and a great selection of wine. My partner and I had dinner here last night and we couldn't praise it enough if we tried. Amanda served us and was lovely from start to finish, very attentive and made great recommendations. I'm a fan of all the locations for this restaurant,...
I took my partner here for his bday and we had an amazing dinner. The flavors were all bold and with a middle eastern flare. My favorite dish was the cauliflower which was bursting with spices and grilled to perfection.
We had dinner at Mezes and enjoyed the food. The appetizer (dip platter) was great! Wine was good and reasonably priced. Service was quick (there was a wait after 6:30pm and it felt a bit like they wanted to clear the tables to get more people in). I had the lamb chops which were fantastic. My husband had the boneless...
This is a busy Greek restaurant with good food, fair prices and a very knowlegable wait staff. It is located in the Danforth Ave Greek community where many similar restaurantants are located and it is one of the best.
"Fun eclectic hotel with great staff and great rooftop bar"

We were in Toronto for a party which was being held on Rooftop Bar/Restaurant at Broadview and decided to stay at hotel for the evening. Lobby is not huge, but who cares about the lobby... Great bar and restaurant on first floor - good for breakfast, snacks, lunch, and I'm sure dinner, although we didn't eat there. Hotel room was...
Fairly expensive at $200/night, a bit dated, but a good room in a great locaton. Breakfast bar is ok, limited selection. Very limited parking. Shopping mall and cinemas very close.
Good parks and walking paths in the area. Close to some good restaurants like Julio’s Bistro.
