When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
The grand building itself is reason enough for a visit, and do have lunch in the cafeteria with stained-glass windows. Walk and walk through exhibits ranging from artifacts from the Raj to miniatures to the best-designed silverware from the 20th Century.
A huge shop that you just got to see if only to go to the food hall which is amazing.I didn't think we would buy anything there but our youngest managed to buy a designer doggy toy on a clearance bin for £8.
I really did not know what to expect. I enjoy my visit to this historical building. It is not set up as a home. The only room is the glorious dining room. The table is set beautifully. I would have loved an invitation to dine during that era. All the other rooms are now galleries of asthma and collections. Hope...
The Brompton Oratory is a beautiful Catholic Church in the heart of London. The outside is imposing but easily missed as you are traipsing past towards Harrods! As a Catholic I always try to stop, give a knee and light a candle but even to a non believer this Church is worth a look. An oasis of calm, cool and...
Very traditional Italian taste and very welcome service. We ordered pepper pasta, it just great. The cheese smells and tastes great. We have 2 people sharing one pasta. The meat ball and lamb ribs are good as well but not as surprised as pasta. Recommend pasta And also strong cocktail...
Had dinner at Dinner. Was excited as heston has a great reputation. One of his most famous dishes is the meat fruit, basically a pate made to look like a tangerine. It was ok, but too much for 2 of us. The rest of the dishes were also good, but more traditional than innovative

The restaurant is a hidden gem. I had 'dumplings with chestnut and wild mushroom' and 'salt beef' - both dishes were just exquisite especially the former. It was the most romantic experience - we sat on terrace facing a large private square. I would love to come back here especially in spring or early summer. Truly wonderful restaurant and very...
The hotel in Basil Street is situated between Harrods, the designer shops in Sloane Street and Harvey Nichols.
The reception and concierge staff were really helpful. Our suite was nicely decorated, spacious and had every amenity.
Recently stayed at the Levin as I had seen it listed on various travel sites as an excellent choice. It was due to location and amenities but also want to say thank you to wonderful reception staff, as they were most helpful and welcoming.
Big, elegant room.
Heavenly bed and bedding.
Stylish marble bathroom and huge towels. Excellent location. Cute view. Great food.
Staff who anticipated my needs before I even checked in.
It really was a perfect city hotel experience.
Special thanks to Tony and Luca at concierge for really helping me.
Would I recommend Bulgari London? Yes!
Would I stay at Bulgari...
This is a lovely, cozy, homelike small hotel, more like a large private house with all the trimmings, than a hotel. It's beautifully and tastefully decorated by a very talented owner. The service is excellent as are most facilities. It doesn't have a dining room or restaurant, so breakfast, apart from room service, is served in the library and drawing...
Very friendly, helpful staff. Shown to our room, number 42, upgraded to the junior suite! Lovely complementary afternoon tea. Great location, very quite, 5 min walk to Harrods etc... Comfy bed, nice breakfast, free water, tea etc whenever you wanted. All the little details made our stay here so enjoyable. Will def stay here again when visiting London, great hotel,...
