Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
Not the greatest collection of the painters artwork but it’s definitely worth a visit. Lithographs and acuarelle works among with sculptures and paintings. Has a lot of useful information of the painter. Can be combined with Sacre Coeur or just a walk in Montmartre.
Not far from Sacré Coeur, walking there is a must in Paris to have a flaver of old Paris great known people like Sacha Guitry, Dalida, François Truffaut, Jeanne Moreau, Hector Berlioz... At the entrance you can get a map with the location of each grave...
"A trip to Montmartre is not complete without a stop in to this church"

St. Pierre’s is the oldest church in Montmartre and one of the oldest in Paris. It is dwarfed by Sacre Coeur by size and popularity, and yet it contains so much history. It is an important piece of the history of the Church in Paris.
Legend has it that St. Denis was beheaded on Montmartre, hence the name ‘martyr hill,’...

We booked this restaurant before coming to Paris due to it's good Tripadvisor reviews and ratings for a special evening meal and we were not disappointed.
The menu was small but perfectly executed, both me and my partner tried one an-others food and could not fault a single thing! As well as the food being delightful, so was the waiter....

We went for lunch and selected the five course menu. It was a near perfect meal. Really enjoyed the whole experience. The staff are so friendly and the service was excellent. The chef even came out to chat to us at the end of our meal which was a really nice touch. They've also moved to a new location very...
My girlfriend and I had our last dinner in Paris here and we are very glad we did! It's a small place that is very busy so reservations are a must. Great prices for an expensive city and amazing duck! Friendliest staff and great atmosphere! Highly recommend going here.
perfect location - charming reception area - rooms have true Parisian ambiance by their decor: exposed wood beams countered by French colors on walls, bedding, floors - PLUS very modern bathroom facilities, which made it all feel very clean but also like being in a previous era of time.
What a great hotel in a fabulous location. The staff are so helpful and friendly and made our trip truly memorable. Rooms are lovely but are quite compact and the beds are far too hard, we had to request extra quilts as it was like sleeping on the floor. But you may like very hard beds so this may suit...
We were well cared for and slept well at this charming hotel. It is clean, quiet, comfortable, with thoughtful amenities. Beautifully decorated. The staff are very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend.
Wonderful hotel and amazing staff! We had excellent service from the moment we arrived and accomodations were very comfortable. The breakfast was very well done and we would absolutely book here again in a heartbeat!
"Pleasant, clean, comfortable hotel in a nice area within easy reach of the city centre."

This is a very pleasant hotel in a nice area, outside of the hustle-bustle of the city centre, but near enough to get to all of the main attractions quickly and easily. It's just a short walk from a metro, and there are a number of nice restaurants close by, and an even larger selection if you want to take...
