The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
We certainly had the weather for this attraction, the views were sensational and there were lots of opportunities for some great photographs. We paid an additional fee in our ticket price for a glass of champagne, which was delicious! A worthy visit to enjoy by all the family!
An absolute must see and was amazing once we got in. However we waited just over 4 hours to get in so the catacombs took up a whole day of our trip for only 45 minutes underground, there must have been a better way to organise this! I believe you can buy the tickets online for a greater cost and...
The Junya Ishigami architecture exhibition was really stunning. I'm generally quite skeptical of philosophical commentary by artists, so I went in to this feeling like I wouldn't really 'get' it, or would feel like it was all a bit pointless - but I was immediately proven wrong. I really loved it. The designs were beautiful and incredibly intricate. Some were...
I found this restaurant from the Michelin guide and hence the food did not fail us at all. We went for lunch and took the tasting menu. The courses served are from the Carte. Every dish was well prepared and tasty. We loved the Pigeon dish the best! The place is located away from the normal crowd. But it is...
We absolutely love this restaurant! We dined here last year for my husbands birthday and loved it so much we made a point of celebrating there again this year. The service is very enjoyable and the food is superb.
Ate here for lunch with 2 couples... as recommended by our (French) Segway tour guide. We were the only ones there at ~2pm. Sat outside in street at quant table. Absolutely amazing food... all cooked fresh. Gazpacho, fresh fish, wine... perfect afternoon! Loved hospitality by the French owner & his wife. Thank you both!!!
We had a lovely dinner here outdoors. Food and ambiance was excellent. Eric was very friendly and accommodating. Spoke very little english but was very to communicate in french with him. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
What a lovely stay! The hotel was beautiful, beautifully decorated, and very cozy and chic. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, even with our language barrier. I would definitely consider staying again next time I'm in Paris!

Hotel Aiglion was perfect for our Paris trip! Excellent location, we walked everywhere. The front desk was always polite and helpful. The room had amazing views, even from the shower. I’m sad I didn’t make use of the bath, but it was beautiful and seperate from the shower and toilet. Bed extremely comfortable. No complaints!
We stayed at Hotel Max for four days in mid June and really enjoyed our stay. The night manager, Lawrence, was a fantastic guide who helped us plan our trip and was always available to answer questions or engage in friendly conversation. Rooms were small and it was a little tight fitting all of our large bags onto shelves and...
The room was beautiful, the breakfast delishious and the staff were kind, friendly and very helpful. The location was fantastic because it is close to a number of metro stations. My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back again.

This place was more like a boutique hotel for us. We felt like we were being looked after by family. The management couldn't do enough for you. The hotel itself and the rooms are perfect. Unbelievably clean, modern and maintained. The beds are super comfy, the bathroom is brilliant in each room (we stayed in 2 rooms, 104 and 105)....
