In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
You may think - a museum for graffiti? That's a contradiction in itself, after all, graffiti is temporary and mostly illegal. But this is Urban Art, expressive, impulsive, immediate. Definitely worth a visit!
"A good surprise - non-obvious touristic place to vist"

The visit was a recommendation of a berliner local friend and I was very happy to find this hidden place in Berlin. It is pure nature and very non-obvious touristic place to vist. Its is easily acessible with the metro (U-Bahn) and I recommend a vist of 2 hours there.
The brunch is really excellent. Go here in a weekend and get Augusta's brunch and a glass of wine and you won't regret it. Just make sure you make a reservation or come early or otherwise you won't find a place.
Very nice owner can give recommendations in 3 languages. Let him choose the wine
Very tasty food, with something for everybody. We were both meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans in our party, adults and children. The level of spicyness will suit most people - as in it is not very spicy, so if you like your food spicy, perhaps tell the waiters
Very cosy restaurant decorated in Indonesian theme, with a good atmosphere and...

I sought this place out having eaten here 4 years ago. It did not disappoint. This cafe has class but is also relaxed. The breakfast menu is amazing, and on the breakfast option I chose I enjoyed a feast of scrambled egg, cold meats, cereal, croissants, fruit salad and a glass of bubbly! Plus coffee and loads of bread. Great...
We were a group of 3 friends visiting Berlin for the first time and chose this hotel after seeing it advertised on AirBnB - we were not disappointed! While the hotel is located outside of the city centre (approx. 30 mins), it's in great proximity to various public transport alternatives which makes getting around very easy. The room itself was...
Excellent hotel, great location, great staff's attitude, young and fun atmosphere. On our next visit to Berlin, we will return to this hotel.Close to the subway station, which makes it easy to reach anywhere. Many restaurants and shops, right in Berlin's main street below the hotel.
