The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
The tour was very well done! The Palau was breathtaking! We started off with a short video giving some background information about the history of the Palau. Then our guide ( who spoke excellent English) walked us through the Palau, giving detailed explanations of all we were seeing, pointing out details we might have missed on our own. Had plenty...
We had a great time here, the setting is so intriguing, I don't know the history here but I'm sure it is quite interesting. The dancers are very focused and energetic. Beautiful dance to witness and a beautiful setting.
Really pulled together a huge collection of work around the theme and set that out comfortably in a nicely proportioned space in an interesting building. It was quiet and relaxing in contrast to the Picasso museum just around the corner which is great but busy.
What a great ethnology museum. Really the best-of-the-best from all over the world. I believe it exceed the Chicago Field Museum in ethnology. We saw things in this museum never seen anywhere else. Across the street from the Picasso museum.
We went to this churreria for breakfast - churros with chocolate. I could get used to that. It was amazing, very local. Seeing this old man, doing what he's best at was an inspiring experience. Thank you.
My husband and I booked dinner after a friend recommended the place - so glad we did! We both had the tasting menu-the owner suggested a wine based on our preferences and it was spot on. And everything was extremely good value for money too-we weren’t left hungry! We will definitely return on our next visit to Barcelona

We had a late dinner here on Sunday night and the pizza was great. We dined in the restaurant at the counter. After trying 3 different slices, we chose the porcini pizza as our favourite although all were so good. If we had more time, we would return. Great find at 2.5 euros per generous slice.
We loved our stay at this hotel, rooms are modern, staff is friendly and location was great. Everyone we were in contact went above and beyond to make sure that our stays is wonderful. Our room was super clean every day.
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights, we really enjoyed the location. Easy walk to the gothic quarter and las ramblas. The hotel was very well kept. We enjoyed free wine for happy hour alone with having a drink or two at night at their roof top bar. The hotel had a small gym which had plenty to to...
We booked Yurbban Trafalgar for our last night in Barcelona, after traveling through Spain and France. My only regret is we didn't have more time here. Friendly staff, loved the free wine at wine o'clock. The pool was the highlight - good drinks from the bar and relaxation. Great location.
Great hotel with friendly and attentive staff. You can't beat the rooftop pool and the great breakfast buffet that is included with the stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel since the location is central to many restaurants, shops, and sites in Barcelona
K + K Hotel is situated in a great area of the city across from a park which we enjoyed biking through to the beach. The breakfast was ample and a stand-out employee was Bruno, manager of the restaurant. He was extremely efficient , hard working but always with a smile. Their were several different employees manning the front desk...
