Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

I went there in August and when I had to choose a Gaudi house to visit during a family trip in December, it did not bother me to go again. Make sure you book online to skip the queue.
The house is enchanting, very well preserved, and the audio tour is very nicely made. The only negative point : they...

This place in vary interesting, we took the night tour, to the roof where they had a light show. We enjoyed the show, but found that is was a little short for the price. The place is a apartment complex, made and designed by Gudi, to this day their are some families living their, that have been their for a...
This is a fantastic, yet hectic square, with a beautiful monument in its center.
While the fountain of the monument did not work during our visit, it was nice to gaze at it from the roof of the nearby Arenas shopping mall.
The best thing about this building is that it is next to casa Batillo of Gaudi, so you can see both of them in the same time, probably an hour each, you get to wear special plastic shoe cover so you don't touch the floor with your shoes and it is a very nice place to see with each room...

Teoric takes tapas to a new level. 3 eu cavo was great. first we had the carrot, sweet potato and mandarin salad with arugula pesto with candied walnuts oh outstanding. then their version of potatoes brava only ten times better than anywhere else so far. onto the two fresh veggie dishes, first cauliflower with a smoked cheese almost au gratin-ish...
After living in Barcelona for a few months, I went here with a friend (who studied as a pastry chef) and had heard about this place. It did not disappoint! We tried the tart tatin and a cherry mousse cake and both were absolutely magnificent! They are the perfect size, not too sweet and taste as look as they good....
The best hotel we’ve been so far. Absolutely gorgeous!
The room was clean and amazing, the staff very helpful and nice, the breakfast yummy, everything is perfect.
Also, the hotel is in the center of the city.
I would love to go back there!
Very expensive but worth the price. Great location just a short distance for all of the major sights. A ten minute walk from Passages de Gracia and about a fifteen minute walk from Las Ramblas.
The hotel is very sumptuous and elegantly decorated in a formal, Spanish decor. If you don’t like velvet, this is not the place for you....

My wife and I stayed at The Corner Hotel for three nights. We were impressed with every aspect of the hotel. It is clean, modern and stylishly presented. Our room felt brand new, superbly decorated and fitted out to an extremely high standard. We had a lovely view into the street below and couldn't have wished for more.
