Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
Love coming here at any time of year, it is a small and simply beautiful park with many benches and places to sit, not to mention a lot of very interesting botanics. sometimes the "greenhouse" is open and serve coffee and a few simple things to eat, alwasy nice when possible.
We bought our grocery store breakfast here and had a lovely picnic before seeing the cisterns. Afterwards we found the park to be a lively spot to just lay in the sun before jumping back in our bikes. Very relaxing space.
This place is always packed - and I really know why. It's one of the best Italian places I have been to. They change their menu frequently and have only few dishes available each time. We were four eating together and each of us got separate dish. All of them were amazing. So good that I'm still thinking about the...
We went there as a table of two and we had the 7 courses that are 15 really if you count all the snacks and petit fours. The restaurant is stunning and the food was excellent. There is nothing more to expect regarding food, service or atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Copenhagen.

I have had many lunches and dinners at this place over the past many years. The kitchen is just great. There are always great menues with interesting seasonal selections and you will not find better cuisine at this high level for affordable prices anywhere else in town. In the summer there is a very romantic outdoor area and the inside...
Great service (VERY kind and helpful without being intrusive) and very good and tasty food. Family dinner a Saturday night. We all had a 5 course menu - very good and recommendable. Fairly priced. Wine selection also good and fairly priced. All in all a top experience.
I arranged with the staff to surprise my fiancé on our anniversary. The staff did exactly as planned with live guitar music.
We were there with our two kids. Which they spoiled with cheerful play, lollipops and funny gestures.
All our pasta dishes were so delicious we ate it all up!! :)
Overall an unforgettable evening. Good family restaurant and...
We had a 4 night stay at Avenue Hotel. The room was small but nice, with a big beautiful window next to the bed. Housekeeping was on a daily basis in our room with fresh towels. The location is good, you will need approximately 15 mins to the center on foot. If you are looking for a nice hotel in...
The hotel was originally the SAS Radisson but was bought by the Scandic hotel group a few years ago. The bar and restaurant area are nicely designed with minimal lighting. The price of drink and food is typical for Copenhagen but of above average quality. Try the brunch! The ground floor area is ideal for meetings. A good bonus for...
Excellent location , reception really helpful, but rooms just a little too small for comfort . Ideal for sightseeing in the centre of Copenhagen. Small walk to pubs and restaurants. Don't use the taxis as their 'special rate' is too expensive.
Excellent location, 5 minutes walking from the Metro station and about 10 mins walking from the center.
Breakfast was good
room and bed were relatively small.
Practical if you have to go to the Copenhagen Business School
Ate at the restaurant after an event, and everything was very good! Nice presentation of the plates! Quality of the ingredients was very good! At all the dishes were served also quickly! The place is very characteristic and has also a good selection of wines! Nice ambience!
