Norrmalm is Stockholm’s most central and busiest neighborhood. It’s home to the main shopping street, Drottninggatan, and to Stockholm icons like the Sergels Torg glass obelisk, the famous Hay Market with its Carl Milles sculptures, and the Hötorget Skyscrapers, a sight on every other Stockholm postcard. Norrmalm is also home to Sweden’s most traditional department stores Nordiska Kompaniet and Åhléns City juxtaposed with Stockholm’s most modern shopping mall, Mood Stockholm. Visitors to this area get to experience the unique Swedish philosophy of protecting cultural heritage while also staying on top of fashion innovation and modern architecture.
There are a ton of quaint restaurants or cafes along this street or wharf for having a drink and watching people and boats. It's lovely to walk and lovely to sit. Well, the weather was perfect for us! We actually ate at #19 and it was a decent meatball dish and a great tuna salad.
If you like London's Wallace Collection you'll like this (free) museum - with a very nice courtyard cafe, I really wanted to do the English tour so that we could have seen the kitchens etc. But whiled away a pleasant hour.
I was in Stockholm the week during the food festival in this park area. Although the event was good I could not see the park to its full potential. It is ideally located whether you arrive on foot or by the ferry boats. Like the majority of Stockholm it is worth a visit
This is an old-school museum, with things neatly laid out in glass cabinets, labeled and sorted. Sweden has not spent as much time digging as the UK and the amount of objects is nowhere near the collections in London. However, everything is easily accessible, explained without overly complicating things. Very pedagogical and as much as the younger audience has the...

"Great experience "

Modern and stylish restaurant situated by Grand Hotel and opposite the Royal Castle. Two options for dining - table side or by the bar, I liked the latter as you can peek into to the open kitchen and it gives you a better chance to interact with the staff.
The menu consist of small to medium sized plates. The food...

"Wonderful restaurant, great location"

This is the best restaurant we ate at in Stockholm. We went at lunch because that was less expensive than dinner and dinner items were available. It is at the intersection of a park and the water near the Royal palace, and the windows were open onto that view. The service was excellent. We had halibut. The portion was large,...
First make a reservation-you can't just walk in, unless it is after 9pm. The place is small and the food is modern swedish but excellent. First the small rye bread with sweet butter was perhaps one of the best breads I have ever enjoyed. The white asparagus was perfect. I ordered the scallops appetizer only to be told 5 minutes...
We visited this restaurant in company with a very picky guest. The mozzarella was excellent and also the meat and pasta dishes that we had for our main courses. Our guest wasnt entirely happy with everything but said that he wanted to come back which is as good as a review from him will is likely to get.
A really nice boutique hotel, with finely deqorated rooms and a good nights sleep in premium beds. Great breafast! Prices are however on the high end as compared to the delivered experience, without the expected over the top service as one is hoping for from this kind of luxury establishment.
My husband and I had the pleasure of spending three nights in this lovely hotel in May of 2018. Our room overlooked the courtyard area which is the restaurant/bar. The location is very central and was a great starting point for our excursions each day. The breakfast each morning was fantastic!!! We were gone a total of 5 weeks and...
Excellent hotel, restaurants and outstanding SPA facilities and great Stockholm location near museums and sights with access to convenient transport. Water view rooms the best for enjoying harbor activity. Extraordinary staff, most helpful and responsive.
Good location in the middle of City with access to all that you want for a leisure trip.
Staff are welcoming and efficient... public spaces are nicely designed.
Rooms also have great design with modern bathrooms although my particular room was a little lacking in space.
If you crave modern chic this is a great choice... if you like space...
Brief visit to Stockholm for a conference and my other half treated me to a night at the Miss Clara.
Great comfy bed with good quality bedding. Lovely en suite and nice toiletries. Upgrade on checking in was nice touch - thanks. Staff were very friendly.
I’ll be back, next time for longer and to explore what looks like a...
