An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
I started going to Koon Thai massage in late 2016 and since that moment I always go there. Masseurs are professionals, massages are healing and they offer different treatments according to your needs. It is a clean and safe place, comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommended.
As a licensed massage therapist who operates a private practice in New York City, I apply the highest standards when I myself receive a massage.
Top massage therapists know an amazing massage is not just about techniques, there is much more to it than that. Gerald delivered his AMAZING massage with quality and intuitive touch: he was fully present, and...
Had a 30min Stress Relief massage at the Glebe branch, and it was exactly what I needed! Treatment was wonderful, ambiance was peaceful and my massage therapist was very professional and welcoming.
Definitely recommend and I will be going back here for another treatment.
The GPD is our favorite restaurant in Sydney and we dined again there with friends a couple of weeks ago. It was as good as ever -'simple food cooked to perfection. A small but excellent menu and an excellent wine list with good wines available by the glass. All this at a very competitive price and friendly service.
Go here if you want to know what properly done Indian food is like. Very rare to find in Australia, but you can taste the real, quality spices used in his curry's! The say the food is sourced ethically and locally as well, which is hard to prove but the goat we had seemed of excellent quality.
Super rich food...
This was a totally delightful experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive with out being intrusive. They accommodated my Allium Allergy in their stride - in fact, without exaggeration, they provided me with the best modified and safe menu that I have ever been offered in a restaurant. Even better, the food was absolutely delicious - mine and the...

The area is great, cafes shops etc, & interesting houses all around with a great walk down to and along the waterfront.
Our room seemed a little dark and austere, the balcony looked out on a dismal wall, (how about a graffiti commission there !) However the bed...
