The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

"Returned to See Bill Murray , Jan Volger and friends "
reviewed yesterday by Kym P
Now this was a show that I just wasn’t sure about but because it had bill Murray I knew it would be entertaining on all levels and it was.
Poetry , readings from the classics huckleberry Finn , Hemingway. Performed to incredible music by the three maestros of piano , violin and cello. I can see why jan is one...
When there are no shows on at this theatre, they run tours of this magnificent building. It is a fantastic tour of approx 2 hours. Stewart was our tour guide and it was so informative and interesting - certainly not boring. We saw the grand entrance, seating areas, backstage and the small rooms that you wouldn’t have known existed. The...
I have been going for the last 45 years. Not as often as I like, but each time it is a great experience. The building alone is !! and when you step inside another world comes alive. I think it's time to go and see what is new and have a great day out. LOVE THIS Gallery.
Found myself in central Sydney with only an hour to spare and not wanting the shopping option, very reasonably priced visit and makes you think just a little bit more about the real lives that started populating this young country
This place did not disappoint. From the decor and ambience to the heavenly cocktails my friends and I had a memorable time at Bulletin Place. We were there early on a Saturday evening and it was busy without being crowded. The staff were attentive and interested in taking time to chat and offer recommendations. Great bar.
What an amazing night. It was my husband's 40th birthday. I picked The Ternary because it had so many good reviews. Must say I didn't like it. I loved it. Han our waiter was super attentive. I loved the fact that he always told us what was the best 'value'. It was a nice touch that the chef came out...
We'd heard so much about the quality of both the food and the (very extensive) wine list here, that we had to try - and weren't disappointed. Some would say $300+ for lunch is over the top, but what a treat. How many restaurants still have a champagne trolley for that before-lunch aperitif. The staff are super friendly and helpful,...
This restaurant remains as one of my top restaurants in Australia to visit.
The service is outstanding !!
We always have an extraordinarily wonderful experience.
The degustation menu is exceptional in its presentation ,flavors and freshness. Such innovative cuisine to delight every taste bud.
Their selection of paired wines was exceptional.
My daughter is vegan to which we gave them...
great location, super helpful and friendly staff, great rooms and free mini bar and social hour. beautiful decor with old world charm. 5 minute walk to darling harbour and the ICC. breakfast included and great coffee.
We had a 2 bedroom unit on the 66th floor which was massive. Everything was good - service, comfy beds, good shower, tons of room with great views of Darling Harbour. It is on the favourites list for future visits.
As I have said before all was brilliant except the Bentley restaurant. The rest of the stay was excellent. The concierge was great very witty and knowledgeable. Liked him. The rooms were excellent The staff at the entrance were very attentive.
My girlfriends and I visited here last Friday to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks in the ground floor Lobby Bar, then dinner at The Wilmot restaurant. As per my previous visits the staff at this hotel are absolutely first class. The concierge, Eryk is the most courteous and helpful gentleman I’ve ever met in a hotel. Nothing is...
Ideally located for everything in Sydney... Darling Harbour is a really short walk one way, Circular Quay for all the ferries and harbour another direction, and the opposite direction just 1000 meters along George St is the Capitol Theatre and Haymarket. Easy. The delightful surprise starts with the reception upon arrival... an amazing warm and genuine greeting at the car,...
