Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
"The location of this unusual church (the square) is quite nice"
reviewed 3 June 2018 by sharem57
The church is unusual and architecturally interesting to say the least. The city square in which it is located is fun and filled with people and life and surrounded by shops and cafes and small restaurants and stores of all types. It is really a great neighborhood which is fun to people-watch and grab a bite and a coffee ..or...
It is a nice building not far from the city center in a quiet Prague's zone called Vinohrady. Actually it is a kind of small commercial center with a supermarket on the basement. If you ate interested in architecture, worth a visit.

We can only agree with the others reviewers - this gallery is an absolute must for anyone interested in minerals and fossils.
The collection of over 3,000 specimens is organised by regions or countries including Bohemia, Slovakia, Russia, Europe, Asia, North and South America, Australia and Africa.
We spent over three hours there in late May, and could easily have...

I visited Prague with my husband for a long weekend break and came across this restaurant on trip advisor! I am so glad we went, we shared the taster menu and it was delicious, no fault at all!
The price, staff and food are all brilliant, make sure you visit!
"Nice balance of service and food quality without succumbing to being just another bearded hipster joint"

Classic venue, with great food and service, understated, terrific menu and food preparation. Blue Wagon has developed the right balance of interior design, professional, friendly - but not, thankfully, obsequious - service (just the right amount of attentiveness), and the food: Amazing. Just perfect. Everything is thought out. One gets the sense this is a restaurant that intends to stick...

"Amazing wee gem."

My partner and I came here for dinner after booking it for my birthday. It was a great choice.
Staff were polite, cheerful and knowledgeable about the food they served.
Food was to die for. I have very high standards for steak and this easily exceeded them. I would recommend the three steak selection if you cannot make up your...
Great place with super nice service and delicious brunch! I liked as well the interior and the style of serving dishes. Only minus is that often you have to wait in line to get a table, cause it's so popular. Still worth it! :)

A party of five us came to this restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and tables rearranged for our comfort and convenience . Absolutely beautiful food and were able to mix and match with the menu. Would warmly recommend this restaurant . Thank you to the wonderdful staff.
We had a great stay here for our trip to Prague. The staff are all very friendly and speak English. Rooms are clean. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. It is a five to ten minute walk to the subway station Jiřího z Poděbrad. From there you are in the city centre within a few minutes.
Full disclosure: I initially booked at another Mamaison property, but it was being renovated. The reservation staff was extremely responsive and helpful in advising us about the change before arrival and arranging for transportation. I have no regrets whatsoever. I did not anticipate staying in this area, a bit farther from the center, but it is beautiful, quiet, and residential,...
This is a smaller hotel very near to the central district of Prague but in a more quiet setting. They serve a good European breakfast each morning, including scrambled eggs. The staff was pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed all of the local businesses in the area. We were close to the central city and had easy access to all...
Five of us went to Prague for four days. Hotel was very clean, reception staff helpful. Staff at breakfast did not smile and not helpful, the breakfast was very good plenty of choice. Rooms small but adequate, tea and coffee facilities available there were 3 of us in one room only left 3 milks and no English breakfast teabags had...
A nice little hotel in a good location, in the Vinohrady neighborhood. It’s about a 20-25 minute commute via subway to Old Town Square. There a lot of convenience stores and a few coffee shops nearby, so you can load up on essentials before heading back to the hotel. The room itself is quite large. I stayed here in July,...
