Take some of Asia’s biggest malls, hundreds of street-side vendors and a dozen of posh hotels and you’ll have Siam - Bangkok’s commercial district that will make any shopper’s heart beat faster. From cheap electronics and wholesale goods in MBK to designer handbags in Siam Paragon, you’re almost guaranteed to find what you’re looking for in one of Siam’s many malls. Take a break from the commercial craze and visit the beautiful Jim Thompson house or the state-of-the-art Bangkok Arts and Cultural Centre to recharge.
Jim Thompson house is a very good excursion if you have an hour to spare....arrive on the BTS National stadium station....it's just 300m from there....tickets are 150baht...the tour is 30 minutes and are very informative...there are gardens to explore,a restaurant and shop......well worth the effort of going there
Very cool snake park with well kept snakes. The show was educative and interesting, and the exhibition is blooming with snakes from all over the world. A must to visit if you have any interest for snakes and reptiles - or if you just like a touch of adrenalin!
This Art and Culture Centre is surprisingly enjoyable to visit. It comprises of a lot of small arty stalls and shops selling creative, artistic and innovative items. There is also space for artists to hold art exhibitions, performance halls and theatres to exhibit various disciplines. Should you have nothing better to do in Bangkok, perhaps, you should pay this place...

I've gone to the one in London so this one feels rather small and simple to me. However, it was still a good "introduction" to my teens who have never been to a wax museum before.
There were many notable Asian public figures as well as local heroes unfamiliar to us. We also got to learn more about their late...
After we understood that walking in Bangkok is really not an option, we found out about this ferry.
It’s fun to sit next to the locals. Wobbly ride, so hang tight and don’t open your mouth because of the splashing water (which doesn’t look to clean 😁).
Overall a quick and convenient (if you are agile enough to hop on...
This restaurant is deserving of a higher Michelin rating, we had the journey menu and it was amazing, every dish was incredible, then the staff are fantastic and so proud of the restaurant. It is an absolute must

Looking for something different we decide to give a chance to Unomas, if I’m honest without much expectations; rooftop, five star hotel, eatigo...
But after the meal we agree with my colleague that Unomas is one of the best rooftops in town, the product and preparations are great, not cheap but for once in a while it worth the prices...
We attended the Jim Thompson house & grounds tour then stopped for a happy hour 50% off drinks by the outdoor pond before going to dinner and enjoyed a very beautiful view relaxing here. Our drinks were pretty and tasty. Service was good. The only problem was the bugs: mosquitoes & tons of tiny gnats that were swarming around us.
