With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
"As others noted, a real gem among the megamalls."

This is truly a gem as intact Lanna houses are rare in Thailand. An excellent thing to see after visiting the Lanna Museum in Chiang Mai which does not have such a building on site. Cost is 100 baht. One hour will do it. This is the only museum at the Siam Society (open Tues-Saturday 9a-5p); the SS building has a...

Arriving here was wonderful- they upgraded our room to a room with a lofted bedroom at no extra charge. Room was tastefully decorated. It was modern yet rustic- this extends to the property as a whole. Room also had local fruit to eat- such a nice treat. Bathroom was modern and felt luxurious.

Amazing staff, room and service. I'm so glad we choose this hotel for our last 4 nights in Bangkok.
This hotel is well located, the staff always ready to help you with a smile. The room is modern and very clean. Will definitely be coming back!!
We are so lucky to be able to take a break from our jobs to come to Bangkok for Thanksgiving. We have an empty nest and the ocean between us and nearest family are definitely reasons for some holiday TLC.
There is only one place that can satisfy that for us in Bangkok. That is the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. We...
This was another extremely comfortable stay at Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit. Our initial experience here was a year ago. It was only for a one-night layover but we were given an upgrade and that really was a very pleasant surprise given that the trip was to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.
This time around, we came for a short stay with...
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. We received a complimentary upgrade to a nicer room, and it was great! The buffet breakfast has several selections. You can order from a short menu of items (scrambled egg, omelette, etc) in addition to other foods. The coffee was great as well! The rooftop area was very nice...
