Home to more than half a million residents, Uskudar on the Asian side of the Bosphorus is one of Istanbul’s most densely populated neighbourhoods. Once a Greek colony, later a haven for people from across the Mediterranean and the Middle East, this gateway to Asia has been an active and diverse hub for eons. Still, visitors to Uskudar are often more overcome by its myriad treasures than by its many thousand residents. And with fairytale settings such as the “Maiden’s Tower” as well as grand examples of Ottoman Era architecture, plenty of parks, a gorgeous and lengthy coastline, and some of Turkey’s holiest sites, there’s no end to the sightseeing possibilities. Easily reached from the city’s European shores via a steady network of ferries, time spent in Uskudar reveals a “real life” Istanbul that many who experience find extremely fascinating.
one word " Amazing" , you should visit at least once to check out the nice place , very quite and refreshing place , you get to see Istanbul from above the mountain , easy to get to and the place is night in Sunday's where alot of weddings in it.
We took one of one hundred charter boats serving this attraction from somewhere close to Kabatas Terminal. It’a nice boat ride even though the sea was rough due to strong winds and some dodging of big boats. The tower is cute with a history behind it and the views are great. Touristy, but happy we’ve done it on our third...
This palace for some reason is really pushed by tour companies or hotel but it is a summer palace that I have enjoyed visiting twice
The ex summer palace of the ottoman sultans
One that is still very well kept and worth a visit
Was a nice visit looking at the opulent rooms and designs of the palace
It is a stylish restaurant with moderate price. Everthing is fresh and delicious. They have a car-park & vale service. There are some private rooms for special days or organizations. And the sea and bridge view is great also.
Probably the best doner in Istanbul ! Love the Inskeder Kebap they make and the very good herbed lentil soup both fantastic flavor and taste. Unfortunately we cant visit Turkey this summer since the political situation is not very stable as we are reading in the news but i hope that the next summer we will be back !
To have a delicious, traditional lunch and dinner, you should go to Kanaat Restaurant in Uskudar. The third generation of the family directs this special and old-fashioned restaurant and serves many food made from vegatebles and meat, desserts etc.You will enjoy the tastes.
The location is perfect, you can bring your own meal and eat. Only , you are forbidden to bring soft drinks and nuts. This restaurant is public friendly in terms of budget. Not expensive. The view of Bosphorus is stunning. The hygiene level is so so👀

the location is magical and you can move easily with the other side of the city using boat taxis and ship communication which is regular.
they have weddings almost every weekend...
This is a really good hotel, clean, quiet, helpful staff, room decoration is great, it can be ranked as a 5 stars hotel, the only thing is the location which is not for tourist because it is in Asia side, but even if you have a car it will be easy to reach any location that you want.
The hotel is quite clean and it is an ideal selection if you have business in the area.
The price was reasonable and good value for money.
We had requested a non smoking room and it was OK. The selection in the minibar is quite adequate.
Free coffee and tea was offered in the rooms also.
I travelled a lot, and stayed at hotels from 5-1 stars, but this hotel caught my admiration by its:
If the staff spoke English or Arabic, I will give them a full mark rating.
If you want to enjoy all what you look for in 5 star hotels and pay for much...
