"Beautiful park somewhere around the island! Oct 2012"

Visited there in October in the middle of Autumn, you can see the whole park filled with orange red maple leaves and falling leaves right in front of your eyes too! That's an amazing idea to take photos there in the park!!)) In the distance, you can find Kirov, the former Mayor of Peteri back during Stalin's Era...a great hero...
This museum offers a lot of information, a lot of it incredibly interesting. Understandably not all of it was translated to English but there is plenty to become engrossed. The only thing I’d say is that I didn’t think it flowed overly well in terms of what you should read. I seemed to wander from the 1800’s to the 1950’s...
Great display of centuries worth of military equipment. As like most museums in Russia, you can get up very close to exhibits and pictures are no issue. Descriptions are all in Cyrillic but you can figure out most things from the dates.
We popped in for a quick lunch and was surprised to find sugar (not sugar) heaven at the top of the stairs. Loved being seated at the round bar. The seafood pasta and tuna sandwich were excellent. We did squeeze in a small cake too. Spotlessly clean and excellent service.
Well worth a visit.
Excellent service and delicious food. The must to go place if you are staying around and really worth visiting even if you are on the other side of Neva river. We tried many different dishes: khinkaly, hachapury, meats, everything was super tasty. Don’t skip desserts, we had a mix plate and loved it.

"For special occasions!"

Simply fantastic place -- truly gourmet food, service, setting (garden and lake), absolutely wonderful. If it's warm outside, try to sit on the terrace, it's worth it. If you want to impress someone -- a lady or business partners -- this is the place to take them to. Expensive? Sure, like I said, for special occasions only. I was there...

"Dinner with friends"

We went with a group of 6. The service is good but the prices are mid to high. The food is plentiful and you can pick and choose from a good variety of dishes. The wine list is also substantial. It cost us around $80 Australian a couple for one course and a bottle of wine.

"the best Chateaubriand"

the best Chateaubriand I’ve ever had (and it was in London, New York, Las Vegas, several cities in Austria and Germany, Moscow and etc., etc.). the service is good. the atmosphere is nice. definitely recommended.
Easy, no headaches! Easy check in. They walking you down to the room. Everything you need is there. Clean. Everything works in shower perfectly (not a case in many even fancy hotels). Perfect location either.
It is a bit simple to stay more than couple of days, but for the short stay is a perfect choice.
Our staying was for six night in St Peters burg in this calm hotel. The staff are really lovely, with a good English communication skills. The rooms are clean, calm and comfortable. The breakfast is acceptable with a good quality. The location is good. The only thing that I propose is to put electric kettle in the rooms. It was...
I never heard of this hotel before and accordingly did not expect too much from it, especially when I sat on the sofa facing the reception desk. The sofa sagged so much. But then I found the hotel was not so bad after all. The room was clean and comfortable, though the bed was a bit too soft. I slipped...
Beautiful hotel just 5 mins walk from Gorkovskaya metro station which is only one stop from nevsky prospekt. Immaculately clean with stylish decor. Very comfy bed and has a small cafe for morning coffee or breakfast.
We stayed in this hotel for 11 nights during our dream vacation in Saint Petersburg. Location is very convenient, close to subway station and in walking distance from center of the city.
Hotel is small, but kept in good condition, rooms are not big, but clean and have everything you need after long day of walking and touring. But staff...
