Part of the historical centre of São Paulo, República was once a fancy residential area. República Square holds a craft and food fair every weekend, right by the subway entrance. Nearby, one of the neighbourhood’s main attractions is the Italian Building, where you can see the city from the 42nd floor. The Copan Building also deserves a close look, with 1,160 apartments and a huge floor area that inspired filmmakers and other artists. To get the feeling of São Paulo in the beginning of the 1900s, visit the Municipal Theatre – you will be amazed by its architecture. The area also features several galleries. República is a great area to explore during daytime, but use caution if visiting alone at night.
This a magnificent example of the respect and love that the former and today's music lovers have for the formal theater.
I have the pleasure of having seen Orchestral performance by the best of Sao Paulo's musicians and outstanding piano players from around the world.along with the renown SP Symphony Orchestra.
It is a outstanding example of the importance that...

My first impression of this building was it would have been something special years ago.
I have attended, Italian Club Anniversary functions, Plays, Music and just gone to look at the skyline from one of the tallest buildings in Sao Paulo.
Highlight is the outstanding (but Not Cheap) Restaurant with great food, wine and view . Fabulous place for a...
The park itself has great potential with stunning trees and a lovely little artificial pond and fountain. However there are homeless people everywhere and no police to be seen when we were there, which naturally made it feel unsafe.

We queued for forty minutes on a dull and cold Sao Paulo afternoon. I say "queued" but it was more civilised than that. We gave the doorman a local number and received a text that allowed us to track where we were in the queue. That freed us up to have a little walk and then return to wait with...
This place is stunning. This is clearly one of the best view of São Paulo. I prefer to come at 5 in the afternoon to see the sunset which is always awesome!
The prices are not so high in the bar side. Then the restaurant, it is another story but it is very worth!!

Steak tartare, meat and cheese pastels, chicken gizzard stew with bread and pork shank with mash and shredded collard greens. That is what we had for lunch. If that doesn’t draw you in, there is lots else on the menu to appeal to all comers. I am in love.
The first time I was here was in 2001 and since then I go at least two times a year. The best option is the Arabic Rotation Service (Rodízio), which takes you in a trip to the Middle East Cuisine, serving a great variety of delicious dishes.
Far beyond a better option than the Shopping Centers Almanara branchs.
"WELL LOCATED HOTEL, NEAR METRO ACCESS, CLEAN ROOMS!"

The Hotel is located in the downtown area of Sao Paulo, the Metro access is hust one block away, the facilities are a little old but well maintenance! The staff is gentle and the breakfast is Good! The room service is good and the food is Ok.
The only bad thing is the Fitness Centre, the Tv does not work...
I stayed in this hotel with a friend for the carnaval weekend. When we arrived early in the morning due to my flight our room wasn't available but Emerson the receptionist made sure we didn't have to wait for too long. Actually he was very helpful. The room was comfortable and the break fast had a good selection. The location...
Very basic......Lovely hotel, but looks like no one care enough to improve and make it better, how treat the guest....Hotel need heating at all the bedrooms, really cold at night. It was hard to sleep....Need to be more friendly with the guest, make the guest feel welcome day and night......I don't think I will ever stay there again..
Well, it's a good hotel just for short stay.
The breakfast is good, with much options (fruits, yogurt, breads, cereals, etc.).
But thinking about the price I expected it would be more comfortable and new (the air conditioner was noisy and was broken).
The lunch is expensive. So pick up an Uber and go discover the city (there are many good...
The hotel is located not far from the old and historical part of the city. It is not one of the nicest places (a lot of homeless people, drug addicts dwelling around, a lot of young men hanging around which does not really give a very safe feeling to me woman alone). At the same time it was mentioned to...
