Visit Vila Madalena by day for its galleries and alternative stores. Visit by night for a busy nightlife scene with numerous bars and cafes. There is a nice variety of restaurants, featuring many vegetarian and organic options. Good wine list with fair prices. Good and polite...

Bar Astor is not really a "botequim." It is a sophisticated restaurant that attempts to immitate and emulate the...

This is our local and we LOVE it. Excellent empanadas, quality steak, delicious salads and great service, especially with a toddler - they are very accommodating. Brilliant choice if you want a decent steak.
