This ‘Queen’s Necklace’ is a beautiful drive along the coast of South Mumbai stretching from Nariman Point in the south to Malabar Hill in the north. The sea-facing promenade offers a favourite break time for Mumbai locals – college students, families, couples, tea & coffee vendors, foot and head massagers and photographers often flock to gossip or just gaze at the skyline. The views during the monsoons (June till September) are particularly breathtaking. Studded with Chowpatty Beach for its lip-smacking street food, Bachelor’s for its unique ice creams and India’s oldest aquarium, at night the streetlights along this drive enhance the dramatic arch of the bay.
Much vaunted architectural building. With 6 million people passing through it is a place of supremely well organised chaos for the outsider. You have to go to see the real Mumbai. Haggle with the taxi drivers and embrace the masses of humanity. Enjoy the experience.
Right now ths fountain is covered due to the metro construction work. I think some restoration work was also going on earlier, but I believe that is over. It is one of the biggest landmarks and adds a bit of history to this beautiful old area of Bombay.
At the end of the day just visit this ages old ice cream parlour! It must be very old nothing less than 60 Years and the people running this place are old Parsi and they run it by their own rules.
No credit/debit/online portal to pay bills they believe just in cash and they have kept their prices also very...
Excellent recommendation of Tour guide.

His choice of guide was a true positive experience in seeing India in a completely different light. Very Positiv safe and clean. Made our stay very worthwhile.
My wife and I stayed at the Marine Plaza for three nights during a city break in Mumbai at the start of a longer holiday in India. The hotel appeared to be a mix of tourists and business people and is clearly aimed at both markets as there was an ante room in our bedroom which served as a spacious...
Good location – a few minutes away from Churchgate which is a major train station. You are also a stone throw away from the Marine Drive promenade where you can have a walk in the evening if adjacent noisy traffic doesn’t bother you.
The one thing letting this hotel down is its breakfast in the room. They take orders on...
Good hotel with delicious food especially variety of dosas for breakfast, big and clean rooms even service is very good and located near by marine drive even having a gym. Except the pricng everything was very good
Neat, clean facility and very warm staff. Very well located and near Marine Drive. A lot of good places to go nearby to eat and great for tourists looking for a value hotel. We had a very comfortable stay! I would have given it 5 stars if the hotel had gotten a thorough renovation.
