Eat, see, and stay in Times Square / Theater District
The Lion King is well worth going to. An amazing performance from beginning to end. The songs, the actors, the costumes, the set, the dance. It was all perfect and moved at a fast pace. I bought tickets online from headout.com. They were more reasonably priced. Not the HUGE extra fees. The delivery system worked well. I'd use them again....
So many places have fantastic Christmas settings and windows, but very few have the joyful and festive atmosphere like Bryant Park. We went back three times over five days.
Great lunch at the Grill, lots of little boutique shops - from candles to carvings, from sugar cookies to maple syrup and beautiful jewelry - a lively and bright place to...
Just had dinner here the other night and hands down, it was one of the best fine dining experiences we've had in NYC (next to EMP)! Better than Per Se, Daniel,Jean George, le couccou. It was an absolute pleasure. But then again, I love seafood but it wasn't just the seafood !!! It was the sauces that really made the meal....
Los Tacos No. 1 is a buzzing quick eatery serving up yummy tacos and quesadillas. It’s a standing only spot with a quick turnover. You can help out all the folks trying to get a bite by leaving once you’ve eaten!
The place is expensive but you know that going in. You NEED a reservation. Make sure to book in advanced for a good time. The food is good, New York strip with peppercorns. Plenty of choices for food and desserts.
My friend and I booked to go here for Thanksgiving dinner. What can I say other than it was amazing. The food, atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff everything was excellent. There was too much food for us to eat but it was delicious. In fact it was so good we decided to go back another night and we shared spaghetti...
We haven't stayed here in more than 4 years, yet we were recognized by the staff who were present then--even our preferences. They are an amazing group of people.
The service is impeccable and is the reason why we choose the Casablanca when we can. It almost feels decadent to be treated so well.
The European continental breakfast and the...
Value - minus one point - the price at the time of my stay were higher than during less "attractive" time of the year.4th floor north side - a little bit noisy at night/early morning because of the noise from the street (caused by garbage truck I suppose)
Our honeymoon stay in NYC at the LUMA was fantastic. The room and view was incredible and all of the staff was helpful and friendly. David and Jason at the front desk were especially accommodating. Will definitely stay again!
My wife and I and our 2 sons (11 & 18) stayed 3 nights at The Pearl Hotel this week and had a fantastic time. This is a great small boutique type hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It has spacious bedrooms, very comfortable beds and an excellent contintental breakfast with plenty of choices. Highly recommended. Great location, very...
