Friendly pub/restaurant, food very good especially the roast beef and locally caught haddock. Portions very generous and reasonable prices. Service was quick and friendly.

Warkworth is spoilt for choice with at least three excellent dog friendly pubs and although the Masons Arms and Castle Brew House may have the edge the Hermitage is well upthere. Very friendly staff, Beer in fine fettle and food very good with big portions

Great pub food served with good cask ales. Lovely homemade chips especially good! Friendly service and open for food all day.

The food here is far better than standard pub fare. The menu offers a wide choice of high-quality, great tasting dishes, both local and international. And the beer is excellent too.

Very nice Sunday lunch, generous servings and lashings of gravy. Everything seemed home cooked. Will certainly return.
