From their household BBQ, rice and peas, fried plantain, pork, Mofongo...hmmm is it...yummy😋. Their service is great and it's inexpensive for what you get.

Out of all the roadside restaurants El Verde BBQ had the best fried plantains and roast pork! We went back multiple times while on our vacation. The rice with habichuelas and blood sausage were very good too. The location, parking and seating could be better. The second time we went we did take out and ate the food back at... More

If you're looking for an authentic Puerto Rican experience, this is your place. It's counter service with limited seating, but the food is worth the extra effort. We had the mofongo-the texture was amazing and the garlic sauce top notch. The pernil was on point and the outside crust exploded with flavor. We also had the arroz con gandules, pastelillos and... Every time you go you will enjoy the best chicken barbecued. Their dides are also great for example: baked sweet potato, plantains, rice... everything is very good, at affordable prices. Only downside is that every time you go there, there are so many people that you will have to wait a little, but it's worth the wait

We had chicken and ribs. The left over the next day were better than when we bought them. Less fat and grease. All the seating is outside on stone tables and benches . Not great because of the traffic noises from PR 3. If I went back, it would be for take out.Very reasonable prices.

Stopped for lunch because it was near the apartment we were staying at and came recommended. Got pernil with the rice & pigeon peas. My husband got ribs & yuca. Both decent, nothing outstanding

Being the number 1 place on TA, it wasn't what I expected. It's a small roadside place with great food. We ordered the whole chicken, which they cut up for us, along with the mofungo. They had a full bar, with a small menu, but enough. We ate in the side area and enjoyed everything. The most inexpensive dinner I've... More

Great food at an Excellent price. Good drinks at a great price as well. Had the pollo, costillas, yuca and Batata frita all of which was great. $25 got us enough food for 4, a beer and a piña colada.

Thank Destin P
