Wanted the local speciality lamb but it only comes in 1Kg portions, (and needs ordering in advance) shame. However we both enjoyed what we had. Nice setting, good service.

It is relief to find the Konoba Komin after the rather packed eastern foreshore. The only downside if you eat outside on a chilly evening is the wind as the outside tables are right on the northern point of the peninisula. We had an excellent shared fish platter with a mixture of grilled smaller fish. Very well cooked and presented.

Poor black and seafood risotto. It was tasteless and the rise was overcooked. For the quality the price is high.

Here we go... Love Croatia and love the food. However, despite being in a cracking location with stunning views, this place lacked the key ingredients of decent food and helpful waiting staff. Was recommended to come here and have the peka (basically meat, veg and potatoes cooked over hot coals (kinda like a Lancashire hotpot ish). Have had this previously... More

Shrimp with white wine sauce was to die for, if a bit messy, mussels were tasty and slightly over cooked but still delicious. Price was right. Would recommend.

We liked the food and the service and despite the fact that this location is great, I would call the prices moderate. We had octopus salad (octopus was very soft and tender) for 70 kn, homemade pasta with shrimps in tomato sauce - a very big plate indeed just for 60 kn, grilled squid - good portion, two perfectly grilled... Ordered the traditional, big meat and potato plate dish which was tasty, whilst the setting was also very pleasant, watching the lovely sunset. However for the food that we had seemed fairly pricey seeing as we had a traditional dish that was one big dish for sharing. I would give it a visit for tasty traditional food but be aware... More

When we go to Korcula we always try to have lunch or dinner at Komin. The owner is a real stickler for local---so whether it's the fish or the veggies or the wine, if it isn't from the island, it isn't served. So earlier this week we brought a friend from Split to experience the town and the food. We... More

Friendly environment and serviceminded staff, but the food was a big dissapointment. We ordered lamp and the meat was like rubber. Without ant sauce it was a dry meal. The kids maccaroni was so over-cooked it almost turned into a big mass of pasta. But the waiter was friendly and nice, unfortunally the food gave it a place as a... More

Best octopus salad we have ever had (rucola and capparis)! Restaurant with outdoor seating, stunning sea view. Smiling staff, reasonable prices. Relax time, would come again.
