Wanda is a most welcoming hostess, and served us with quick, delicious meals. The restaurant displayed many historical artifacts for South Africa.

You may miss this spot tucked away in the local community. Wanda is extremely welcoming. The whole place reminds me of the 80s with its old style decor and Serviettes in the wine glasses. Everything is very neat and clean. Portions are extremely generous and...prices are reasonable. Good home cooked food. Take your own alcohol. There are almost no options in the area and Wanda's is a good choice for a decent hearty meal.More

Amazing food and generous portions. Well worth your time and money. Absolutely delicious! We were amazed to see tourists and locals walking all the way from the hotels side to this little restaurant...

Fantastic little restaurant in the local community- we tried the seafood platter and it was not only a steal but also superb- local Steenbass cooked so you still taste that fresh caught essence - really intriguing mussels - paella with a bit of a kick...- beautiful calamari - perfect prawns and some real South African veggies done farm style - your host Wanda s fun and nice chatting to other diners - it does not have a liquor license so bring your own - you would pay double f not more at other placesMore

We loved being able to support one of the local small businesses. When we went we were early and the only ones there. Food was good and the staff lovely.

We really wanted to love Wanda’s food because she seems such a lovely lady and apparently made a great success as restaurateur, after working as a waitress for many years. We drove all the way to lovely Arniston (en route to Agulhas), expecting a good...meal. Unfortunately the fish was dry and overcooked (we could hear the microwave going in the kitchen which is not a good sign). Chips were ok. At least you can take your own wine so it’s cheap, and the sweet potatoes were really good. Doubt if we’ll visit again, what a pity.More

Wandas is in the heart of Kassiesbaai. It’s founder and owner, Wanda worked in one of the original hotels/ restaurant in the area. She is a delightfully friendly woman who runs her business with great skill. The menu is small and there’s meat, fish and...vegetarian dishes. The food is simply delicious and the price is about half of any other restaurant. The service is excellent and you will be encouraged about what South Africans can do given an opportunity. We went twice and will be back! Bring your own wine and take cash as no credit card facilities are available. .More
