The restaurant is a traditional style Indian restaurant with a fairly standard menu. The service and food were both good.

We usually get takeaway and this is always of a high quality. We sometimes get it delivered and the time they tell us is always correct. When ordering takeaway the time they set is accurate. The food is always hot and of an excellent quality. This time we took a friend for dine in. The service was prompt and friendly... More

Lamb samosas to die for and tandoori chicken as good as I've ever had. Great meal and lovely service. One tip, they can be a little shy on the chilly so if you like it medium ask for hot and if you like it hot make sure you say very hot. Closest we have come to a Birmingham Idian in... More

We went with our friends to celebrate the birthday dinner, but got disappointed with the items served to us. 1. The non breads are not an indian style at all, lt is more westernized and was looks like thick pizza base. 2. Chicken tikka jalfrezi: this was not at all good didn't match their menu brief, the tikka was more... More

I used to live in Albion 10 years ago and on a recent trip to Brisbane took the opportunity to have another meal at Sitar with my family. It was New Years Eve and having a toddler our plans were pretty tame, so we walked into Sitar early hoping to get a table and weren't disappointed. Service was fast and... More

We go to Sitar a lot whether for dinner or a take away in the way home from work. The menu is varied and the quality consistently good. We are always greeted with a smile and often choose our own table. We are always immediately provided with water a papadums while we select our meals. I've tried just about everything... More

It was our first time at this particular franchise and we were very impressed by the chicken tikka masala and lamb curry. Very generous in their portion sizes and the flavours were spot on. The naan bread probably needed another minute being cooked as we just grabbed take away however it was a nice experience.

Definitely the best. We sampled the pakoras, samosas, garlic naan and butter chicken. Every meal was incredible, well done sitar! And the service was like nothing I've ever seen at an Indian restaurant before. We will definitely be back.

Thank Brandon F
