I really enjoyed our family supper at Tony's. Its a little bit on a walk and one steep street up in Mismaloya You won't need directions as people in town ask "where are you going? Is there something you want amigo?" I read trip advisor to find these hidden gems. The view is amazing 10/10, the service 10/10. As stated... More

Off the main street in Mismaloya this is a hidden gem. family owned and run for the past 30 years. Sit upstairs on the veranda and sand floor.. Humble but great food. No Menu as its fresh catch seafood daily. The menu is a platter of what's offered daily.. see photo... FYI ask the prices ahead of time. or you... More

We went here at night after dark and had no idea where we were going...that was a mistake. If on the bus, get off at Barcelo and take the dirt road up into the hills, probably a ten minute walk. It can seem a bit daunting after dark but there are street lights to guide you. There is a cab... More

The journey to get to Tony's is a refreshing break from the typical PV beachfront scene. it's easy to think you've made a wrong turn. The servers were lovely and the setting, with a thatched room, sand floor, no walls was refreshing and unexpected for a 3rd floor location in a neighborhood setting. The 70's music is also a change.... More

Read the reviews for Tony's. I had to go based on the reviews. On the way we asked people for directions, as I had never been to mismaloya. Even the people giving directions, raved about the place. Had an idea what to expect since we talked to people. I will leave some things for surprise. Everything was awesome. Service, food,... More

Hidden in so so neighborhood near Mismaloya is this 3 story restaurant that serves a limited menu of excellent food. The menu is a platter wit the items you can have cooked. Red snapper, various shrimp dishes, rib eye and that's about it. You feel like you are in the middle of the jungle and you kinda are. Nice folks... More

Small restaurant in Mismaloya hidden back in town. No menu, just a display of fresh seafood and steak. Friendly quiet atmosphere. Absolutely delicious. Strong margaritas. Very reasonable prices. Definitely worth the trip on the scenic highway just south of Puerto Vallarta

When we went to this restaurant it was at 7 PM and the food was great! They bring out the menu uncooked on a tray. I had a lobster for only $15 which was amazing. You definitely want to take a taxi or shuttle here. The nigh or hood was a little rough.

First night in Mismaloya we went to Tony's based on a recommendation. Wow! What a hidden gem. Everyone says it, and it is completely true - Best Red Snapper!! It was absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly and it is a quaint location. It is tucked away up on a hill with partial ocean views. You will not get... More
