We learned of this place from some friends in Atsugi. The chef reportedly studied in Italy. As I was in Italy three years ago I can attest to the quality of the food. It was very good but probably overpriced for Japan. The crostini was very good as well as the fish. The pizza was underseasoned. The spaghetti reminded me... More

I've been to Italy and had some excellent food, I've been to several Italian Restaurants in the United States and had some okay Italian, food always seemed to be overly seasoned where you couldn't enjoy all the ingredients and when you did find a dish where the ingredients agreed with you, it was always something a distance from where you... Tonight was the second time I ate at La Ricetta, both times I have been very happy. I have ate Italian food from several good places but this is certainly some of the best. Although I doubt there was anyone with even a tiny bit of Italian heritage in the joint either time the cooks would give real Italian cooks... More

I'll start off by saying my buddy and I went to this restaurant, with our family and friends. We both had come from Italy as our last duty stations to Zama, so that makes three of us (including my wife) who were primed for an Italian meal. It was barely delivered. first of all, the wait time was horrendous, for... More

I have ate at a few Italian restaurants in Japan and this is the best. Good atmosphere and good food. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend.

Solid pizza, pasta, and service. While most Italian restaurants in Japan serve bland dishes, La Ricetta serves fresh, tasty, and authentic plates. Would happily go back.

Wonderful lunch with wonderful service. Our group ordered a special which included us sharing three different plates, dessert and coffee or tea. All of the food was very good. We started with a salad, then pesto spaghetti pasta, tomato based spaghetti pasta and a margarita pizza. Dessert was a type of sorbet. We had a birthday in our group and... More

Go to lunch here once a month. Friendly service, varied lunch menu and reasonable prices. We always get the pizza, thin crust, very tasty. Not always the fastest service, so please plan accordingly.

The food was good. Took a little time because it was made to order but overall enjoyed our time. The marinated octopus and the seafood spaghetti dish were great. The bread with cod roe was good a little more on the crunchier side. Screwdriver was perfect. My wife's ginger ale came in a smaller sized bottle but wasn't offered a... More

We ate here because it is close by, the food was good but the service was bad. They came and told us to quiet down because our daughter was talking loud. There was another table there with 10 people talking just as loud or louder and not once did the waitress tell them to quiet down.
