This restaurant is just the right spot to experience local cuisine. Some of the dish is really authentic that is really hard to find at other places around Malaysia. Also a lot of variety to choose from the main dish to side dish to the refreshing water.. but most of the food and drinks are self service

I like this restaurat because there's tasty cuisine that village with a wide selection . The option that I liked is Ikan Pari Bakar with Air Asam , Gulai Lemak Labu , Pajeri Terung , Kerabu Pucuk Paku , Gulai Tempoyak and Rendang Udang . You have to try yourself .

We were staying near Ipoh and this restaurant was recommended to visit by Food and Travel magazine, so we decided to have lunch there. It was a 45kilometre drive to get there, but it was well worth the trip.
It is a simple restaurant run by Saidi and his wife Zaria who does the cooking. Very popular with locals. Our resort had booked a table for us and Saidi, a charming host, had saved some giant prawns for us. The food is displayed at the front of the restaurant and there were about 15 or so dishes to choose from. A lot of fish dishes including a fish with Durian fruit sauce, and the prawns coated with coconut and ginger. Chicken Rendang was excellent as was all the food.
The tables and chairs are simple but clean and no alcohol is served.
Well worth a visit for traditional Malaysian cuisine, our lunch was about £20 and we had a lot of food!
