Easter Saturday - Visited for a quick breakfast before shopping in the garden centre. Lots of staff working but not very busy. Bacon Baguette sandwiches were tasty (nice thick bacon) but overpriced.

Myself, my partner, my sister, her husband and baby niece decided to sit down to grab lunch after a long walk around the garden center. We queued up for about 15 minutes, and noticed there wasn't much of a selection of food left to choose from. I was pre-warned that certain items were unavailable so I pointed to one of... More

Poor service, rubbish food and a rude Manager. Avoid like the plague. I am usually fairly free with stars but this place is a dump unlike the Garden Centre it is attached to. Avoid like the plague. The Manager is clearly in the wrong business because he has no idea about running a cafe or speaking to customers.

Used to come here all the time for breakfast & lunches during the week, good food with good quality ingredients BUT the last three visits have been awful, cheap ingredients & poor quality food, staff with attitude problems, we won't be going back again Greasy spoon fare for restaurant prices

Have to say started with a lot of items "off" the menu, finally ended up with an expensive sausage sandwich each, asked for brown and tomatoes sauce, when I looked at the bill iD been charged £0.10 each sauce Sandwiches were dumped on the table with no regard for the cutlery already there, and no garnish on the plate The... As with a lot of garden centre cafes ( and yes it is only a cafe with restaurant prices) there is a captive clientele! The visitors to the superb garden centre! So will pay for the small pot of tea, one teabag or coffee and cake etc to make a visit to the garden centre a ' treat' However, all... More

Having completed our shopping in the garden centre and the beautiful Christmas shop. We decided to have lunch in the Café Manhatten, we won't again. The staff were friendly enough but the food over priced and you have to pay extra for tomato ketchup! My lunch had a selection of cold and warm chips. Next time we go shopping and... More

Very Bad Experience Visited the lovely garden centre recently and decided to have a spot of lunch in the Cafe Manhattan. A very uninspiring atmosphere but thought I'm sure the food etc will make up for it. When my lunch finally arrived it was lukewarm and unappetising. I went to complain and spoke to an older gentleman (and I use... More
