We found out very quickly after we arrived in Koh Lipe that when you travel to this lovely island during low season (aka green season) , there is not a lot open on Walking Street, as if you went during the busy season. An hour...after we arrived, we went looking for a local coffee shop to enjoy. After we left our room at 10 Moons, we soon realized that it was difficult to find a coffee shop open this time of year, much less food options (for those less adventurous like ourselves). So it was hard to determine what meals we found the best at 10 Moons since we ate EVERY MEAL and afternoon coffee at this excellent restaurant in our 5-night stay.
Every meal - outside of the incredible all-you-can eat breakfast - we went straight to the Thai portion of the menu. My goal was to order something different for every lunch and dinner we enjoyed during our stay. Not one meal was disappointing. Excellent Thai flavors in every meal - especially the variety of curry soups. I tried every one of them and found them all excellently cooked and flavored.
When I was getting my afternoon Americano's there, my wife enjoyed mongo smoothies that were fresh and perfectly blended each time.
The team at the restaurant was second to none, and we wish we could transport them back to the USA with us! Such a lovely group that was always at your table hoping to offer the best service possible.
Whether you stay at 10 Moons Resort or somewhere in the area, I recommend stopping for a meal - or two - at 10 Moons Restaurant.More
