The place is right by the ocean with amazing view. We both had seafood and liked it a lot! Also the prices was a pleasant surprise for such a place :)

We stopped in for lunch with friends whilst exploring the Island. I had the barbecue chicken which came with rice, chips and salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the bill came to 52 euros that was for 6 people (food & drink). Can't beat it - very nice.

The food that we had here was very nice, tasty and good sized portions. The price was very good to. The best thing about this place though was not the food but the lovely waitress, so friendly, eager to please, explained what everything was, made a very good Poncha. The girl could teach a lot of people in our country... More

We came here off-season on the look for a friendly restaurant (as the taverna was closed). The service was attentive, friendly and fast. The portions were huge and tasty. We had the scabbard fish, the espetada, and a vegetable soup. Was tasty (nothing special though). The white wine was great.

Food is ok but the servings are huge, so share a few smaller things. Very reasonably priced and right opposite the ocean in a sleepy little hamlet. Service a little slow.

We chose the place for our first dinner in the Northern part of island. We did not really enjoy the dinner as all side dishes (vegetables and fries) we received seemed to be made from frozen ingredients, rice was boiled for too long and food was really fried and tasted like no salt or spices added to it. The fish... More

Stopped on spec. Our Sunday lunch was very good, not outstanding but we'll worth what we paid. Under €25 including drinks cannot be bad, would definitely call again.

Called here by chance, don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside looks like a bar which does food. The waiter was very friendly and spoke good english. I had espetada, did'nt know what it was, but thought I would try a local dish. WOW when it arrived it was amazing, great big skewer of lean lamb cubes,... More

First in a row of seaside cafe/restaurants in one of the bleaker coastal areas in the whole of Madeira in October- it then gets little sun due to high cliffs behind and the sea is rough. Unfortunately the sea-front in Sao Vicente gives the impression of being rather run down, and devoid of tourists, possibly due to the recession- the... More
