Very nice meal in a tiny restaurant in the harbour. Lovely food and a very cosy friendly atmosphere. The owners have really got it right, limited menu of starters and main course and several choices of desserts. Would definitely return.

A booking is required as this restaurant is tiny. But it delivers quality food in a friendly atmosphere at a reasonable price. Pre-booking your meal, unusual, but obviously helps keep their costs down, which is reflected in the price. Only two choices for main courses but their fillet steak was superb. Lovely location in this unspoilt part of Scotland. Remember... More

The food is excellent as were the hosts Husband & Wife team. Jane & Roger. Best value for money and cooked perfect. The views over the harbour are spectacular. You need to book in advance as the seating is limited in the small but lovely restaurant. Only open weekends and always worth a call to book if other diners have... More

Booked The Harbour Restaurant for a birthday meal for my fiancé. He was very impressed. All three courses were a fantastic standard - not one fault ! Didn't want to write a review as I want to keep this place a secret ..... We have waited ages to get a table and now we know why 💗

If you're near Gardenstown, don't miss out on this great restaurant. You really need to book as it's small. Very good value- £26 for 3 courses. BYOB. There is a choice of steak (from their own farm) or fish for main course. A choice of 4 or 5 starters and desserts. Friendly owners who know how to give their customers... More

Poor quality and very limited choice. Elbow to elbow as so small. Good view but dined better places. Won't be back as other places with sea views and better hospitality.

We visited the Harbour Restaurant in January 2016. We didn't know what to expect but we have to say we were extremely pleasantly surprised. Like probably most other people, when we booked we were asked to select there and then on the telephone whether we would have the meat or the fish as our main course. This is the first... More
