This place is well worth visiting if you love seafood, very popular in the evenings so may be worth booking, or expect a long wait

How cool! Soup and sandwiches in this wonderful little town of Kilfenora! Take the scenic routes to get here and enjoy the local fare. Simple vegetable soup and ham and cheese - with a pint of Guinness you can't go wrong. This is nothing flashy But who cares! This is awesome!

Best lobster in Ireland. No messy sauce just pure Lobster with Irish butter. The wine menu was good and the food well worth the journey .

It was crab for all three of us - Crab cakes, Crab sandwich, Crab salad. All were fresh and full of Crab. Good Service, topped by a Great View of the bay, made this a great lunch stop. We'll be back.

Absolutely heaving, but food served up well and all delicious, the fish straight out of the water! The specials were particularly good value, as for desserts - we were just too full!

Best food, friendly & very welcoming staff. The open crab sandwich is wonderful. We will be going back. You know when you order the fish, it's fresh form the sea.

Bacon and cabbage, leek and potato soup with soda bread, lamb stew or toasted sandwiches. That's it. But they are delicious simple meals. Especially as a prelude to a few pints of guinness while the local musicians play traditional Irish music on Wednesday nights. Kilfenora is home to a famous ceildh band and many talented musicians - where better to... More

This traditional Irish pub sits about half way between If your pilgrimage to Father Ted's parochial house starts from Lisdoonvarna, stop at Kilfenora for a pint or a slice of home baked rhubarb tart and a coffee. Very welcoming publican, look out for the local who's willing to share an interesting tale about the area.

It's a typical Irish pub with lovely bar staff and we were lucky to have live music. The 2 Aines and Judith played fiddle, concertina and guitar and sang their hearts out to keep everybody happy.

We stumbled upon here while walking through Galway. We really liked the homely feel of this place, and great food it served. We were served by a very charming lady. We recommend this place.
