Excellent Spanish food & atmosphere. Walked from Guejar village last minute in February. Fires on, warm atmosphere. Excellent food & wine - suckling pig, goat, steak & lamb ordered … perfect. Homemade cheesecake was excellent (although we were full!) Ask for some homemade alioli with...the bread (best I’ve had so far) Walk back to the village was not so brisk. All in all - an excellent choice. 10/10More

Popped in for lunch on a Monday. Many places in town seemed closed, but I was very content to find this establishment open. The tapas was super and the salads were very nice. Friendly waiting staff, I highly recommend.

Having read good reviews for this place, we were looking forward to a nice meal. The salad that appeared first was good and to be honest that was the highlight of the meal. Burned croquettes then followed. For mains, two of us had the mixed...grill which was chewy and salty, accompanied by a 'crumb' which was heavy and stodgy. One had prawns pil-pil, a common tapas dish in Spain. This one was made with frozen peeled prawns and was 18 euros. When asked what came with it, the waiter offered fried potatoes or salad. Fried potatoes were ordered and were swimming in oil. One of us had squid which was literally a plate of deep fried frozen squid, no accompaniment and again 18 Euros. The goats cheese salad ordered by the other person was also pretty inedible. The food in this place is dreadful and expensive.More

Good friendly service. Quality food and a nice atmosphere in one of the town’s best restaurants. A varied menu with lots of delicious dishes to choose from. A blend of traditional and innovative cooking. It’s a regular hangout for the locals and a smart choice...for both tapas and a three course meal. Highly recommended !More

We stumbled across La Hacilla one quiet Sunday morning when we were looking for breakfast. We had basic but high quality pan con tomate with fresh cod and sobrasada, with fresh orange juice and a coffee, all for a ridiculously low price (5 euro) for...2 people. We will definitely return on our next trip to Guejar Sierra.More

Distance & duration: Abt 3mins (200m) walk from our Güejar Sierra apartment (Depending on which part of the town you stayed) Upon Arrival We make a last minute reservation. Thankfully, it was not full house when we arrive. In fact, we were way too early...for dinner which only be serve @ 8pm. We sat, chat & drink wine while waiting. The ambience was good. Servers were very patience & attentive. Though they do speak limited English but with goggle translator, all is well. The appetizers was superb!! Menu Varieties: 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Food: 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Service: 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Price: Reasonable Don’t worry that you’ll over order cause the server will alert you.More

So in this area of Spain you have tapas served with alcoholic drinks, the tapas is free which is the law. Sometimes you get given olives or crisps but here you get fish, stew, meatballs etc etc. And the food is amazing! We have previously...had a meal here and it was top quality. The town is a great location but it’s a place you are either coming to or your not, you wouldn’t necessarily travel just to come to a restaurant. So if you find yourself here, give this restaurant a try 😊More

This was the only restaurant open on the first night of our recent trip to Guejar Sierra so this was the reason we ate there. We were unsure as the menu contained many food combinations that did not sound appetising to our taste. However we...were so happy we did eat there!! The food we had - steaks and calimari - were very nicely cooked and presented and the portions were huge. The ice cream and sorbet desserts were lovely and the limoncello they kindly brought us tasted home made and was superb. The service was perfect and the bill very reasonable. There were still food combinations which were alien to our taste but the food is authentic and cannot be faulted!More
