Friendly people only too happy to see you. The Greek people are always welcoming and these were no exception. We only stopped for a drink but ended up having lunch and so glad we did. Tasty bread and sooooo tasty meatballs. All 3 of us were more than happy with everything.

Atmosphere is great because of Fotis Volakakis. The basic material they use is from local village or their own garden.

Stopped by on way back from beach and was not disappointed. Warm and friendly hosts. Followed the home-made recommendations, in particular his mothers goat cheese on the Greek salad was superb. Enjoyed the meat balls and aubergine with cheese. The giant beans were yummy, more than enough and the price was inexpensive. All together an excellent lunch.

This was our favourite and most frequented restaurant during our stay in Falassarna. The food is all organic, fresh and home grown. We loved the cheese pies and the tzazikis but the other food was also really good. The fried zucchini and aubergine slices were perfect. The homemade red wine is also excellent. The restaurant was recommended to us by... More

If like us and have visited Greece on several occasions we have become rather fussy about not eating tourist Greek food and try and seek out more traditional Tavernas, well this was a fantastic find and we stopped here on our way back into Falasarna where we were staying. The welcome was very friendly and the menu instantly told us... More

Returning after a couple of years we were glad to see that the place still offers very tasty Cretan food made from local ingredients. Tzatsiki 2,70€ tells that is reasonably prices. The best are filled zucchini, moussaka and some of lamb and rabbit foods - and tzatsiki as well. Children have a play corner inside, free parking outside and yu... More

Local wines, produced in the local area are available, or an extensive alcoholic or non alcoholic choice of drinks. Food is exceptional, cooked to order and reflects the range of Cretan dishes that has made dining in this part... More

We started with a tzatziki and immediately agreed that it was probably the best we had in a week. Followed by Greek salad made from their own garden grown vegetables and fantastic fantastic feta cheese. Then came the lamb and there was a real jackpot !!! The food is just fantastic. No further words needed. And given the fact that... More

Food was ok but nothing really great. The guy who takes the ords tries to increase your consumption (and your bill). When we were there the service was quite slow. 30 minutes for order being taken and another 30 minutes for getting the food...In my opinion, there are many other places serving better food at lower prices.

We stopped there at lunch the first day in Platanos-Falassarna and were very happy for the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff. Excellent meatballs for my daughter, super greek salad and wonderful domadaki with Zucchini flowers. Worthy to come back
