We had a wonderful dinner here in September. It was one of the best meals we had in our 2-week trip to Italy from the US. The staff were welcoming and very attentive. The fresh pasta was amazing, and the wine recommended was delicious. The...generous offer for an after-dinner drink, Amarone, was a delightful surprise.More

We had a wonderful lunch. The food was excellent and everything was fresh. I had homemade ravioli with truffle and ricotta and, as a second dish, roasted pork. My wife chose a soup with homemade pasta, beans, broccoli and bacon. As sweet I took a...pie filled with chocolate cream and almonds. The staff was very keen and very cute with our daughter. The price was really good, considering high quality. The reservation is strongly recommended.More

Our friends took us to this ristorante, promising us a great meal. From start to a very full finish, it was delicious! Their polenta was amazing, and everyone enjoyed their freshly prepared entrees. I highly recommend making a reservation, as it is evidently very popular...with the locals!More

Our family of 4 enjoyed a perfect Christmas Eve dinner in this gem of a restaurant. An exquisite assortment of delicious meats and cheese, with a few house specialties on the side, big bowls of vegetable bean soup with tiny gnocchi, fragrant homemade pasta, baccala,...grilled lamb on skewers, thin slices of grilled vegetables and radicchio, finished off with delicious homemade donuts drizzled in honey and the house digestiv. The staff is incredibly generous and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The little restaurant was packed on Christmas Eve and had such a festive atmosphere. We left after 3 hours to hear the sound of bellowing church bells over Rivisondoli. A truly memorable evening.More

My husband, 7 year old and I visited this delightful restaurant for lunch today and were highly impressed. The service was perfect, food perfect, location spot on and experience spot on. We felt spoilt rotten by all the staff, who went above and beyond to...look after us. The ricotta was out of this world, seriously tasty, the grilled pecorino with honey was pretty much the tastiest thing I have ever eaten...sublime! The three of us would recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone...thank you ladies!More

We took a week of vacation in Abruzzo to ski and play in the snow, and stumbled on this place by chance. Without question, the best meal I've had since moving to Italy last year! I had a gnocchi with a truffle cream sauce, and...had tears in my eyes it was so good. We showed up right as it opened and got the only table for those without a reservation. Be sure to call in advance and get the cheese plate for antipasti - unbelievable!More

As soon as we entered, we got a really warm welcome. Super friendly staff :) But the food....was just delicious! The mushroom pasta was one of the best that I have tried and the two cakes (one made by the mother, the other one by...the grandmother) we tried were also amazing. They also offered us coffee and amaro which was extremely nice from them. It's a family restaurant run by real nice people, hope to return!More

We were introduced to this place by family. Who would have thought of finding a Michelin restaurant in a small Abruzzo town? Small, intimate space with vintage furnishings, art and lots of character. We were 14 diners but the owner made us feel as if...we were each the only one for dinner. The food is exceptional local specialties. Eaten with the local wine and you will be more than satisfied. Also try their own digestivo after dinner. Off the beaten path but worth the effortMore

This is one of the historic taverns of Rivisondoli and for sometime it has been very successfully taken over by the heirs of the original founder. It offers a menu of very typical local specialities, all prepared to perfection with local ingredients. On a winter...evening, this is a perfect refuge. Try the selection of grilled cheeses or the gnocchi with truffles, or as dessert the panna cotta with mosto cotto... but everything will be extremely tasty.More

Stopped off here a few weeks ago during a weekend and was blown away by everything. This is a family-run operation and all produce is locally sourced. Even the pasta is hand made on the premises by the grandmother. It's hard to describe just how...nice the food was (had a full 3 course) and do it justice with words but I would happily give this place 6 stars but tripadvisor only allows 5! The service was friendly and professional, the atmosphere was really nice, and it was extremely good value overall (about 25 euros each including wine, digestivi and caffe).More
