Cute little place right on the beach. Live music till 11 so don't expect to sleep before then. Lovely staff and really nice food. I'd recommand this for a couple of nights, no more than that, though the bed was the comfiest iv slept in in a whole year of travelling!

I went to Trudi's after reading some good reviews. Maybe it was a bad night but I was looking forward to some seafood as soon as I got to the island. They didn't have any fish that night. So I had to choose something else. The items I had were average and nothing special. It was cheap but not memorable.... More

We tried a Filipino breakfast here, which was tasty (we had the Tocino - sweet pork) but the fried rice was a little cold. We went back for a seafood lunch, I recommend the garlic butter prawns (be ready to peel the shells), the calamari needed a bit more seasoning. Prices were reasonable and service was ok, the portions were... More

Amazing atmosphere right on the beach! Very extensive menu with veggie, fish and meat dishes. A huge selection of drinks and cocktails and everything was at such a great price compared to other eateries in the area. I wanted to try half the cocktail menu! The main downside is the waiting time. You should order a 2nd drink as soon... More

We ate there three times. The food was really good and for Alona Beach really affordable. Some Prices: chicken Adobo 150PHP, plain Rice 25 PHP, San Miguel Pilsen small 40 PHP, San Miguel "Grande" 1L 90 PHP.

Waiting at least 35 minutes before being served, while the restaurant was not full and waiters saw me waving and they just kept on chatting their latest stories... What an excellent way for loosing clients. But maybe they don't need our clientele.

Food was not nice - fried rice was stodgy and had no flavour, stir fried veg just tasted strongly of garlic. Food was not hot and took 45 minutes to be made (place wasn't busy at all) and was brought out at different times.

This place might not look like too much from the outside but it's a gem of a find on busy Alona beach. The prices are reasonable and while the rooms are basic, they are clean and as advertised and the bed is the comfiest I have EVER slept in! Great breakfast and lovely staff too. The love music is a... More

We tried the BBQ and waited about 1 hour for it, in the meantime we were entertained by no service at all. Which is bad when one is thirsty as it happens on beaches. Only after I went to the ordering place I eventually got my drinks and a while later some food.

We went to Trudi's the first night we arrived and the food was alright, but nothing special- same goes for the staff. You can do better.
