I've been here twice in the last month. The first time, I took my mum and her friend on a Saturday whim as I wanted to go somewhere local to treat mum to a post-birthday lunch. The second time, I had to come back the following Saturday with my partner as it was just so good. You walk in and... More

Visited unplanned during the week. Friendly welcome from a familiar face in Phil, a great addition to the team. Food (Mix Grill, Gammon and kids meal) very good. Although quiet, staff attentive and efficient.

Family gave us a short stay at the inn for a Golden Wedding Anniversary gift. We've stayed before, and as before, new received a warm and friendly welcome. Our room, not large, but adequate and comfortable, was very quiet and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The food was superb, and we ate too much! The inn is in a delightful... More

A dozen of us had booked a table for lunch at 12.00 a week before our arrival. Food is cooked to order and as a result the few diners who arrived after us had to endure a delay in receiving their food. The quality of all the starters and mains were very good and the childrens portions were large and... More
