We loved everything about this place from the well-put interior design to the quality food. The mixed starters were quite unusual for us but we enjoyed every single dish. The homemade "Pici" with black pork ragù were extremely good, and the beef muscle cooked with wine basically disappeared seconds after it touched the table! The desserts were outstanding too. A... Based upon a friend's recommendation, and the reviews on Trip Advisor, our expectations about our meal were higher than what we experienced. Yes, the restaurant is very pretty, well decorated and comfortable. Everything looks great. We were the first to arrive at 730 but it started to fill up and within 45 minutes to 1 hour was full, as expected.... More

This fine restaurant is 32 km frpm SienaIl paese è a 32 km and probably is worth to go there to taste good traditional dishes from Tuscany. We had two starters "crostini" and "prosciutto di cinta" "spaghetti al ragu" for our doughter for half price. We had two spaghetti with minced meat of "cinta senese" that is a tipical type... More

This gem of a restaurant has it all. Inside you fine beautiful brick arches for the ceiling. Oriental rugs, antique sideboards, beautiful silver.....table settings that are impeccable. Today I had pasta with seafood from Sicily....my tastebuds danced. Then cod with a coulis of onion and fresh tomatoes ... devine. Partner had cheese board enough for a whole table ...all delicious.... More

This was recommended as one of the best dining options in the area by our hostess. The food was lovely (I'm a chef) the village the restaurant is located in is gorgeous, and even though there was a language barrier, we left feeling spoilt. Recommended!

Amazing seafood pasta close to the therma. The pasta was softer than I thought but i think it's the style. If I had a bottomless stomach I would like to eat everything out of the menu. Three meals a day is not enough in Italy😗 nice staff!

My husband and I spent over two weeks in Asciano at Podere CasalCiccia. We ate out every few days and Osteria il Granaio was recommended by our host and tour guide, Roberto Becchi. It was only 25 minutes away. We enjoyed winding our way through the walled town of Rapalano Terme to reach the restaurant. It was tucked away off... More

Food was good, waiters were friendly. Lovely restaurant in a nice location. We went there with kids - which is not ideal, as the menu is not really made for them. But OK, that's not really their fault, but ours for choosing this location. The reason to not give 5 stars for me was the price - the food and... More

I had one of my best dinner experience here. The service was wonderful and friendly. The menu was based on local food and specialties only, with fresh products only. We enjoyed all dishes we ordered, and the wine recommendation was excellent. A really fantastic restaurant. Food, wine, service, atmosphere, it's perfect from all aspects !

This little gem became one of my 'go to' favorites three years ago and it never disappoints! Today, it was my last Tuscan meal with dear friends before I left Tuscany to head back to the States. The ambiance continues to evolve, but in lovely ways. Today there were new dining chairs which are far more comfortable and 'easy going'.... More
