We booked the last table at 9pm on a Friday night, the food was so lovely and we weren't rushed at all. I had the sticky beef and champ which is a signature dish! The barman was super friendly too! Afterwards, we were able to sit by the log burner and enjoy a few more wines! It was clean and... More

An old pub, full of character. A lunch that ticked all the boxes. Excellent food, good friendly service. What else would you wish for.

Try the sticky beef - rich and well cooked falling apart. That following starters all of which were excellent , sweet potato soup or rarebit on a huge mushroom, chicken liver parfait with onion jelly or prescuttio with mozzarella

This was the perfect place for a pub dinner with a few work colleagues. It was very busy so the service was very slow. It didn't impact our experience too much though. Drinks were very reasonably priced and we were given complementary rosemary bread to nibble at. This definitely helped to keep us happy because the food did take a... More

Great food in a lovely country pub, a great way to warm up after a walk around the local lake. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was well cooked, well presented and very tasty. This is our first time here, we will definitely be returning

Came here with friends prior to a walk around Sheer Water Lake with the dog. Sat in the restaurant so unfortunately couldn't bring the dog but I assume if I had mentioned it at the time of booking they possibly would have seated us in the bar area. They supplied a high chair which was handy. Menu is good, sad... More

As a coach party of about 40 we had a late breakfast/brunch. We had scrambled egg and sausage on toast and it was cooked so fresh it was like one has at home. This was followed by fresh croissant, butter and marmalade with either tea or coffee. It set us up for the day.

Rooms were up narrow staircase. Needs to be refurbished but adequate. Cleaning needs checking as well. For proximity to Longleat it is ideal and when you are just overnighting it is ok.

The Bath Arms at Crockerton on the Longleat Estate in Wiltshire is under the care of chef Dean Carr, formerly of The Ivy and Bishopstrowe House. Although The Bath Arms is a truly excellent gastropub, it’s clear that Carr respects country pub traditions. You can expect a warm welcome, open fires, relaxed atmosphere, beer garden, and familiar dishes. But you can also enjoy modern comforts, professional service, fine beers and innovative meals, too. Signatures include starter of fishcake with Cornish crab and broad bean and main course of sticky beef with braised red cabbage. Beer festivals, Caribbean BBQs and other events liven this picturesque corner.
