We had jacket potatoes and fish and chips. Both were perfect and tons of food. Good selection of beer & wine. Service was spot on.

Had a few meals and drinks in this pub over the last year or so. They have a good selection of beer and lager plus house lager and stout. They do a very good steak and wine deal. Nice atmosphere.

One of the pub I like. Nice pub. Great place to chat with friends here. I haven't tried the food yet but will try one day!

Had a perfectly cooked sirloin at the greyhound last night. Asked for rare & that is exactly what I got. Lovely, light onion rings, sweet little on-the-vine cherry tomatoes, a tasty field mushroom & decent chips. 2 x steaks & a bottle of house red for £25, a bargain in anyone's book ! Good, prompt service from pleasant & smiley... More

We hadn't booked and lots of reserved signs out but the lady at the bar found us a table we could have for two hours which was plenty of time. Lots on the menu and veggie roast with veggie gravy which always gets a thumbs up from me. Good sized portions too and not too expensive. The area we sat... More

For £25 you can get two pretty decent steaks and a bottle of red that's quaffable. What's not to like. It's not gourmet & it's not glam, but good hearty wholesome pub food that's very good value for money. Good service as well.

Ate here while working at Silverstone. Atmosphere is nice and the real fires make this a pleasant place to sit. The food, though, is basic. Fish and chips is cheap wholesale with batter that looks, and tastes, like cardboard. Disappointing.

Cannot praise the staff highly enough. I wanted a local venue to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday, so I booked a table for 22 family members here! We had the upstairs room to ourselves, which meant after eating we could relax and use the pool table. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and there was plenty of choice even for such a... More

We visited after seeing reviews. Menu is typical pub fare but lots of choice for smaller options. portions were generous, food tasty and service attentive. Steak and ale pie - you could actually taste the ale! welcoming fire and pub busy for a Tuesday lunchtime. Local stout was excellent.
