Visited late ish on a Sunday evening and had a very friendly welcome from the staff. The food was slightly different from the normal Tuscan fare, with some specials written on a board. The meat cooked in the wood oven was good quality and the house wine was great. Recommended if you're in Altopascio or passing on the A11 autostrada.

We had a delightful dinner here last night. We sat at an outside table on the Main Street in Altopascio where we were immediately struck by the beautiful table linens and attention to detail in the table setting. The owner, Luca, personally took our order. We started with a house specialty appetizer, a delightfully light and delicious bowl of soft... More

We stopped off here on our return from a day trip To Florence. The food was excellent as was the service. There was a service charge included on the bill however this was a set charge and is clearly stated on the menu. We were able to adapt the dishes to our personal taste and we don't speak Italian! Fab... More

Excellent service, and the food was just as good. Great Antipasti, and prima and secondi plates just as good. Staff will speak... More

We visited this restaurant on March 22, 2016. We have been here many times over ten years during the month of July and have found it excellent in every way. We have not been there since July 2014, however. Over the years it seemed to be a family run restaurant, wonderful food, beautiful ambience, professional and excellent value. I looked... More

Great place to eat just off the A11 autostrada at Altopascio. The staff were very friendly, and will speak english if you want! We shared an antipasto and ordered garlic (pizza) bread which was very good and one special fegatello and a steak which was also very good. The house red wine was wonderful (and I don't normally go a... More

Owner opened early for us hungry, tired American walkers on the Via Francigena. My wife had a wonderful tuna salad & I had one of the best servings of gnocchi I've eaten in all of Italy.

We ate here this evening, 2 adults and 2 kids, and were very happy with the meal. 2 starters, 3 pizzas, 1 salad and 4 drinks €48 so really good value. The pizzas were very thin and crispy and cooked in a proper wood burning oven - delicious. Service was great too. Only improvements would have been a less spicy... More

Just happened to walk past here tonight. Saw lots of locals eating here so decided to have dinner. So glad we did. My steak with pepper sauce was the best steak I have eaten in Europe in the last 5 weeks since leaving Australia. Divine. Perfectly cooked. Melt in your mouth tender. The knife glided through it. The house white... More
