Tonight we had diner at La Loggia. We started with a variaty of starters. This was really good! Then we had spaghetti, it was so tastefull! As a dessert we had cake made by the Mother of the owner. Fantastico! The waiter was very helpfull and kind. If you are in Altopascio, you have to visit this place, no doubt!

The antipasto here is definitely above average, both in quality and variety. Our group of six dined outside and had a variety of primi piatti, and all were very good, as was the wine. The service was excellent. It is obvious that the proprietors care very much about their business and their customers. Prices are reasonable.

We were staying at the B&B of the same name (reviewed separately) and it was a natural choice to wander down to La Loggia restaurant, run by Alessandro and his family. We chose to sit in the quiet cobbled square, where the tables were laid with yellow cloths. Our host recommended the house starter selection, followed by pasta with wild... More

We went here based on trip advisor recommendations and we were not disappointed. We went twice during our two week stay in Altopascio and both times were great. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they spoke great English and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very enthusiastic about the menu and their food and were very... More

Very good food, nice location (especially if you get a table outside). In tourist season, it's best to reserve. The menu is limited (starters and pasta) but the food is really delicious. The owners and personnel are very nice.

I extremely recommend this restaurant. If you are at Altopascio or close and hungry, turn your way to this lovely place. Very delicious pastas, starters and home wine... The hospitality was great and prices are cheap.

We arrived in the quiet town of Altopascio in late September as we were walking the Via Francigena and this lovely town is on the route. First impressions of Altopascio aren't great as the entrance to the town from Lucca brings you along the less attractive modern side of the town. We wandered around the town and on that night... We found this restaurant by chance latish on a Sunday evening in September, having travelled all day across France. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner (given that they had stopped serving food. The meal was excellent, thank you. Sharon and John

Stopped at this restaurant after reading reviews on trip advisor as we drove back to our hotel in Barga. It is a family owned restaurant and we were treated very well by them. The son served us and catered to our needs. The mom and dad were also very caring and attentive to our dining experience at their restaurant. Would... More
